And whereas by a Warrant dated the fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 26 of the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, Gerard William Sampson, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E. was appointed a non-elective member of the Manawatu Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the appointments of the said Samuel Arthur Clarence Darby, Enoch Bruce Levy, Charles John Hamblyn, Thomas Strathallan Roe, and Gerard William Sampson as non-elective members of the Manawatu Catchment Board.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of July, 1949.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 3 of the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, Gerard William Sampson, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E., Alan Richard Dingwall, Esquire, B.Agr.Sc., Rowland William Gustaf Janson, Esquire, Thomas Strathallan Roe, Esquire, and Leslie Isott Grange, Esquire, D.Sc., A.O.S.M., F.G.S., were appointed non-elective members of the Rangitikei Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
And whereas by a Warrant dated the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 33 of the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, the said Gerard William Sampson having resigned from membership of the said Board, Trevor Moncrief Wright, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E. was appointed a non-elective member of the Rangitikei Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the appointments of the said Alan Richard Dingwall, Rowland William Gustaf Janson, Thomas Strathallan Roe, Leslie Isott Grange, and Trevor Moncrief Wright as non-elective members of the Rangitikei Catchment Board.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of July, 1949.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 3 of the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, James George Brand, Esquire, Charles Orlando Bridgeman, Esquire, Cyril Walker, Esquire, H.D.A., and Dr. Harry Howard Barton Allan, M.A., D.Sc., F.R.S.N.Z., were appointed non-elective members of the Wairarapa Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
And whereas by a Warrant dated the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 38 of the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, the said Dr. Harry Howard Barton Allan having resigned from membership of the said Board, Victor Dimitrievich Zotov, Esquire, M.Sc., was appointed a non-elective member of the Wairarapa Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
And whereas by a Warrant dated the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 40 of the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, Charles Langbein, Esquire, M.Inst.C.E., was appointed a non-elective member of the Wairarapa Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand do hereby cancel the appointments of the said James George Brand, Charles Orlando Bridgeman, Cyril Walker, Victor Dimitrievich Zotov, and Charles Langbein as non-elective members of the Wairarapa Catchment Board.

(N.Z.), M.A. (Cantab.), F.R.I.C., F.N.Z.I.C., F.R.S.N.Z., Denzil Marcus Eustace Merry, Esquire, John Andrew Peterson, Esquire, and Leonard Lincoln Meadowcroft, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E., were appointed non-elective members of the Nelson Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74 of the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, Archibald Bryce Bremner, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E., John Roger Shepherd, Esquire, Robert Barrie Collett, Esquire, George Wall Lowes, Esquire M.I.M.M., Alan Copland Beck, Esquire, M.Sc., and Herbert Millett Lawrey, Esquire, were appointed non-elective members of the Westland Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
And whereas by a Warrant dated the twelfth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 28 of the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, the said Alan Copland Beck, having resigned from membership of the said Board, Richard Patrick Suggate, Esquire, B.A. (Oxon.), was appointed a non-elective member of the Westland Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941 :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the appointments of the said Archibald Bryce Bremner, John Roger Shepherd, Robert Barrie Collett, George Wall Lowes, Herbert Millett Lawrey, and Richard Patrick Suggate as non-elective members of the Westland Catchment Board.
