WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and their respective Amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work—namely, for the purpose of a pleasure-ground at Beauchamp Street, in the City of Wellington—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land, should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement 22·41 perches, more or less, being part of Section 38, Karori District, being Lot 26, Block A, Deposited Plan 1543, as the said piece of land is more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 21871, and thereon coloured blue.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Huntly Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a public work—namely, the extension of Dudley Avenue, Huntly—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, situated in the Municipal Buildings in Great South Road, Huntly, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers of the Huntly Borough Council, Great South Road, Huntly.

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Australasian Agencies, Limited, will be held on Tuesday, the 12th day of July, 1949, at which a resolution for voluntary winding-up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at 17–18 Palmerston Building, Queen Street, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 12th day of July, 1949, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, at which the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 29th day of June, 1949, presented to the said Court by Raymond Allan Martin, of Wanganui, Clerk, and Winifred Cecilia Berryman, of Wanganui, Married Woman, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wanganui on the 11th day of August, 1949, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an Order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
