HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for road purposes : And whereas
it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land
shall be changed to a reserve for access purposes :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sub-
section one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose
of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed
from a reserve for road purposes to a reserve for access purposes.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Mount Roskill Borough situated in Block IV,
Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood
32·04 perches, more or less, being Lot 16 as shown on a plan numbered
16263, deposited in the Office of the District Land Registrar at
Auckland, and being part Allotment 54, Section 10, Suburbs of
Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 16/2733, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,

Block II, Arowhenua Survey District, Respectively, Canterbury
Land District

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart as a site for a drill-shed,
volunteer hall, and other buildings for the use of the Temuka
Rifle Volunteer Corps, or which failing, as a town hall site or for
any public purpose :
And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a drill-shed :
And whereas it is expedient that the purposes of the reservations
over such lands shall be changed to a reserve for a public hall site :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sub-
section one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purposes
of the reserves described in the First and Second Schedules hereto
are hereby changed from a reserve as a site for a drill-shed, volunteer
hall, and other buildings for the use of the Temuka Rifle Volunteer
Corps, or which failing, as a town hall site or for any public purpose
and a reserve for a site for a drill-shed, respectively, to a reserve
for a public hall site.

ALL that area, situated in the Borough of Temuka, containing
by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Part of Reserve 168,
and being all the land comprised in Conveyance 35038 (Deeds 5
C/S 469) Canterbury Registry. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/150A, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 4507 (formerly part Lot 4 on D.P. 1682), Block II,
Arowhenua Survey District : Area, 18·8 perches, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in Canterbury Land District Brought Under Part II
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under
the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of
Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part
of the Springston Domain, and be managed, administered, and
dealt with as a public domain by the Springston Domain Board.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 4550 (formerly Lot 1, D.P. 14179, being part of Rural
Section 2800), situated in Block VIII, Leeston Survey District:
