HIS EXCELLENOY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Mercer Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Mercer Domain Board.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a site for a police-station over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

WHEREAS the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto was vested in the Hawkes Bay County Council for a reserve for a resting-place for travelling stock by an Order in Council dated the second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the fifth day of that month, in pursuance of section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914 :
And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection two of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.
