Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Stratford Hospital Board, in trust, for hospital purposes.

Foreshore Licence—Rawene—Hokianga Harbour—Boatslip—Alfred Alan Harris
B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of June, 1949 Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General In Council Pursuant to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency, the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council doth hereby licence and permit Alfred Alan Harris, of Rawene (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, and assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy as a site for a boatslip that part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, shown as site No. 22 on plans marked M.D. 8849, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a boatslip thereon, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of June, 1949.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.), and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2).

His Excellency The Governor-General In Council Pursuant to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council doth hereby licence and permit Norman Henry Kuhtz, of Mangonui (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, and assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy that part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Mangonui, Mangonui Harbour, shown on plans marked M.D. 8887, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a shop and dwelling thereon, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Boundaries of Borough of Tauranga and County of Tauranga Altered B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of June, 1949 Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General In Council WHEREAS, at the request of certain ratepayers in the County of Tauranga, the Local Government Commission, in pursuance of the provisions of the Local Government Commission Act, 1946, resolved to hold a public inquiry into proposals for an alteration of the boundaries of the Borough of Tauranga and the County of Tauranga:
And whereas, in pursuance of the provisions of the said Act, the Local Government Commission has approved as final a scheme bearing date the seventeenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, providing for the exclusion of the areas described in the Schedule to the said scheme from the County of Tauranga and for the inclusion of such areas in the Borough of Tauranga:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to give effect to the final scheme as hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Local Government Commission Act, 1946, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, the areas described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Tauranga and included in the Borough of Tauranga, and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby declare that the alteration of boundaries of the said county and the said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933.
SCHEDULE
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF TAURANGA AND INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF TAURANGA
ALL that area in the Tauranga County situated in Blocks VI and X, Tauranga Survey District, containing approximately 1,120 acres, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark of the Tauranga Harbour in line with the middle of Otumoetai Road and running south-easterly generally along the said mean high-water mark and the mean high-water mark of the Waikareao Estuary, to and along the south-western side of the land taken for the East Coast Main Trunk Railway by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette No. 18 of the 22nd day of February, 1923, page 563, to the mean high-water mark of the eastern side of the said Waikareao Estuary, being a point on the Tauranga Borough boundary as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 51 of the 25th day of July, 1946, page 1022; thence southerly generally along that boundary to the western end of the southern side of Elizabeth Street; thence westerly generally along a right line across the said estuary, to and along the southern boundary of Allotment 601, Te Papa Parish, to the westernmost corner of the allotment; thence along a right line in the direction of the south-eastern corner of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 33779, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Allotment 112, of the said Te Papa Parish to the middle of Pillan's Road; thence along the middle of that road, to and along the middle of Otumoetai Road aforesaid to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 5 as shown on the plan numbered 32934, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 455, Te Papa Parish aforesaid; thence along a right line, to and along the southern boundary of that lot to its southernmost corner; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of the said Lot 5, to and along the southern and western boundaries of part of the land shown on the plan numbered 25663, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 455 aforesaid, as shown on the plan numbered 21912, deposited as aforesaid, to and along the western boundary of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 32128, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 455 aforesaid and 454 of the said Te Papa Parish, along the western and northern boundaries of Lot 14 as shown on the plan numbered 34679, deposited as aforesaid, being another part of Allotment 454 aforesaid, and along a right line being the last mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Otumoetai Road aforesaid; thence along the middle of that road to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Tauranga County situated.in Block X, Tauranga Survey District, containing approximately 260 acres, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Cambridge Road in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Allotment 79, Te Papa Parish, as shown on the plan numbered 7410, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and running northerly generally along the middle of the said Cambridge Road, to and along the middle of the road forming the western boundary of Allotment 119, Te Papa Parish aforesaid, to its intersection with the middle of Otumoetai Road; thence easterly generally along the middle of the said Otumoetai Road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 10478, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 117, Te Papa Parish aforesaid; thence along a right line, to and along the generally north-western boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid, to and along the northern boundaries of Lots 2, 3, and 4 as shown on the plan numbered 10478 aforesaid, being other parts of Allotment 117 aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence southerly generally along the eastern boundary of Lot 4 aforesaid, to the northern side of Sutherland Road; thence again
