And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor-General in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation, and is for the benefit of the public :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize and empower the Council to reclaim from the sea at Picton in Queen Charlotte Sound, the land shown edged in red on plan marked M.D. 8896, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such reclamation to be carried out and constructed in accordance with plan marked M.D. 8896, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Declaring the Te Mimi Farm Settlement Road in the Piako County to be County Road

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twelve of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Piako County, known as Te Mimi Farm Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with a public road at the south-eastern corner of Section 7, Block I, Maungakawa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 66·5 chains, adjoining Sections 7, 8, 6, and 10, Block I, Maungakawa Survey District, and terminating at a point on the northern boundary of Section 10 aforesaid, 113·9 links from the eastern boundary of the said Section 10. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126149, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A—B.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twelve of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Piako County, known as the Maungatapu Farm Settlement Road, commencing at the south-eastern terminal of a Public Road adjoining Section 3, Block VII, Maungakawa Survey District, and Lot 9, D.P. 24327, being parts Maungatapu B 4A and B 5 Blocks, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally adjoining Sections 4 and 5, Block VII, Maungakawa Survey District, and Lot 9, D.P. 24327, aforesaid, and terminating at the western boundary of Maungatapu B 3B Block, being a distance of 53 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128630, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A—B.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twelve of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Raglan County, known as the Ruawaro Farm Settlement Road, commencing at the abutment of a public road adjoining the northern boundary of Section 38, Block X, Rangiriri Survey District, and proceeding thence in a westerly and northerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 63·5 chains adjoining Section 38 aforesaid and Sections 40, 36, 35, 34, 32, and 31, all of Block VI, Rangiriri Survey District, and terminating on the southern boundary of Section 33, Block VI, Rangiriri Survey District. HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the nineteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the Gazette of the fourth day of May of that year, appointing a Domain Board to control the Patumahoe Domain, and doth hereby appoint

The member of the Franklin County Council representing the Mauku Riding, ex-officio,
Donald Cameron Beloe,
Frank Newman Carter,
William Henry Carter,
Oliver Claude Goldsworthy,
Hugh Norman McMillan,
Kenneth St. Clair Syme, and
Edward Teesdale Branston Worthy

to be the Patumahoe Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Patumahoe Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
