A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 25·49 perches. Being Lot 65, D.P. 19195, being part of Allotments 7 and 8, Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 912, folio 175, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of June, 1949.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public convenience, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Northcote as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
