All that area in the Otago Land District, bounded by a line commencing at Trig S, Swampy Hill; then north-westerly along a straight line to Silverpeak Trig Station; then again north-westerly by a straight line to and along the western boundary of Block VII, Silverpeak Survey District, to the southern boundary of Block IX, Silverpeak Survey District; then westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of Block IX aforesaid, to and generally south-westerly along the Three O’clock Stream to the south corner of Section 5, Block VIII, Silverpeak Survey District; then generally northerly and north-westerly along the western boundary of section 5 aforesaid and Runs 171b, 171g, and 171c to the Hummock Trig D; then north-westerly by a straight line to a point on the eastern boundary of Block VII, Strath Taieri Survey District, in a straight line between the Hummock and the south-eastern corner of Run 205e; then generally northerly along the eastern boundary of said Block VII to and easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 19, 18, 22, and 23, Block VI, Budle Survey District, and across Nenthorn Creek to the western boundary of Run 121h; then generally north-easterly and easterly along the north-western and northern boundaries of Runs 121h and 121g to the middle of the Waikouaiti River on the southern boundary of Section 8, Block I, Highlay Survey District; then generally south-easterly along the middle of the Waikouaiti River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Dunback Survey District; then generally easterly to and along the southern boundaries of Dunback and Moeraki Survey Districts and the Borough of Palmerston to the Main North Road; then across that road and generally southerly by the eastern side of said road to Watkins Creek; then generally south-easterly along the east bank of that creek and Pleasant River to the high-water mark of the ocean; then by the high-water mark of the ocean and Otago Harbour generally south-westerly, south-easterly, and again south-westerly to the north-eastern corner of the Borough of Port Chalmers; then generally south-westerly by the Borough of Port Chalmers hereinbefore described to the boundary of the Borough of West Harbour; then by the Borough of West Harbour as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 19th December, 1945, at page 1576, and the City of Dunedin as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 24th October, 1946, at page 1633, generally westerly, south-westerly, north-easterly, and again westerly to the point of commencement, and excepting out of the above-described area the Borough of Waikouaiti as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 7th November, 1912, at page 3217.

THIRD SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE BLUESKIN RIDING, COUNTY OF WAIKOUAITI

All that area in the Otago Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 2 of 42, Block I, Waikouaiti Survey District, on the northern side of Blueskin Bay on the high-water mark of the ocean; then by the high-water mark of the ocean and the Otago Harbour generally southerly, south-easterly, and south-westerly to the north-eastern corner of the Borough of Port Chalmers hereinbefore described; then generally south-westerly along the boundary of the Borough of Port Chalmers to the north-eastern corner of Section 62, Sawyers Bay Survey District; then westerly along the northern boundaries of Sections 62, 63, and 64, said survey district to and north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Sawyers Bay Survey District and Block VII, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 74, Block VII aforesaid; then westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of Section 74 to and westerly along the northern boundary of Section 56, Block VII aforesaid, to the middle of the Main North Road; then generally northerly along the middle of that road to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block VII aforesaid; then westerly along the northern boundaries of Blocks VII and XII to and northerly then north-westerly along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Block III, all in North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 11, Block III; then north-easterly by a straight line to Trig Double Hill; then westerly to and along the northern boundary of said Block III and its production to a point in a straight line between Trig Stations Silverpeak and S Swampy Hill; then north-westerly along that line to Trig Station Silverpeak; then north-westerly along a straight line to the south-western corner of Block VII, Silverpeak Survey District; then easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of Block VII aforesaid to the north-western corner of Block X, Waikouaiti Survey District; then easterly along the northern boundaries of Blocks X and IX said district to the Waikouaiti River; then generally south-westerly along that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Block I, Waikouaiti Survey District; then easterly to and along said block boundary to the point of commencement.

Wakanui Defence Rifle Club, with headquarters at Wakanui, Ashburton.
North Bank Defence Rifle Club, with headquarters at Pine Valley, Marlborough.

Amending Speed Limitations Imposed Under the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3

IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant dated the 4th day of February, 1937*, in so far as it applies to the road described in the First Schedule hereto and doth hereby exclude those portions of roads described in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Kaitaia Town District—

Waipapakauri–Maungatapere Main Highway No. 1 (all that portion from the northern boundary of Kaitaia Town District to the junction of the main highway with Kaitaia–Motukaraka Main Highway, a distance of approximately 52 chains; and all that portion from a point opposite the Mangonui County Council machinery-shed, approximately 4 chains to the south-east of the junction of the main highway with Church Road, to the eastern boundary of Kaitaia Town District, a distance of approximately 47 chains).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Kaitaia Borough—

Whangarei–Awanui via Kawakawa State Highway No. 1 (all that portion from the northern boundary of Kaitaia Borough to the junction of the said State highway with Ahipara Road; and all that portion from the eastern boundary of Kaitaia Borough to a point 4 chains measured along the said State highway in a south-easterly direction from its junction with Church Road).

Kaitaia–Motukaraka Main Highway No. 481 (all that portion from the southern boundary of Kaitaia Borough to a point 15 chains measured along the said main highway in a south-easterly direction from its junction with Dominion Road).

Ahipara Road (all that portion from its junction with the Kaitaia–Motukaraka Main Highway to a point 2 chains measured along the said road in a southerly direction from its junction with Worth Street).
