NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for Post and Telegraph purposes (line store, garage, and workshop): And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the additional land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Ashburton and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said additional land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the diversion of Raleigh Creek—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Runanga and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Port Chalmers, the County of Waikouaiti, and the Blueskin Riding of the County of Waikouaiti
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 6th June, 1949.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Borough of Port Chalmers are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, dated the 22nd day of December, 1948, and published in Gazette No. 67 of the 23rd day of December, 1948.
And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the County of Waikouaiti affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
And, in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Blueskin Riding of the County of Waikouaiti affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF PORT CHALMERS
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Block II, Lower Harbour West Survey District; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of said Section 4 to a point in line with the south-eastern side of Woodland Terrace; thence north-easterly to and along the south-eastern side of Woodland Terrace to Slant Street; thence north-westerly across Slant Street to the south-eastern side of Ocean Terrace; thence north-easterly along that side of Ocean Terrace to the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block I, Lower Harbour West Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of said Section 2 to the south-eastern boundary of the main Southern Trunk Railway; thence generally north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that railway to the north-eastern boundary of Section 2 aforesaid; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 2 to high-water mark of Otago Harbour; thence generally south-westerly by said high-water mark to the northernmost point of the area Crown granted to the Superintendent of Otago 7th April, 1862; thence south-easterly along a right line 750 links; thence south-westerly along a right line 1,800 links; thence again south-easterly by a right line about 480 links to the north-western side of the George Street Pier; thence south-westerly along that side of the George Street Pier to the north-eastern side of Beach Street; thence generally south-easterly and north-easterly along that side of Beach Street to a point 1,150 links from its most north-eastern extremity; thence north-westerly by a line at right angles to Beach Street 110 links; thence again north-easterly by a right line 1,100 links; thence south-easterly by a right line 158 links to Beach Street; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of the said Beach Street to the southernmost corner of the said area Crown granted to the Superintendent of Otago; thence generally south-westerly, westerly, and northerly along the high-water mark of the Otago Harbour to a point on the southern side of Mussel Bay in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 62, Sawyers Bay Survey District; thence north-westerly by a right line to a point on the northern side of Mussel Bay in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 62; thence south-westerly by the high-water mark of Otago Harbour to a point in line with the north-eastern side of Station Road; thence north-westerly to and along that side of Station Road to the north-western side of the Dunedin - Port Chalmers Main Highway; thence south-westerly along that side of said highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 21, Sawyers Bay Survey District; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary to the southern corner of Section 6,
