Land Taken for a Public School in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 24·5 perches. Being part Lots 1 and 2, deposited Plan 3647, being part Section 1, Kaiwarra District.
Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 21673.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128898, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of April, 1949.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 23·2 perches. Being part Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 22365, being part Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland.
Situated in the Borough of One Tree Hill, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 685, folio 88 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of May, 1949.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the right to discharge storm-water on Lot 1, D.P. 10320, as reserved by Conveyance No. 105991 and Conveyance No. 116011, subject also as to the part coloured yellow on the plan on Certificate of Title, Volume 517, folio 92, to the right-of-way over the said Lot 1, D.P. 10320, reserved by Transfer No. 294889 as appurtenant to Lots 3, 4, and 5 on D.P. 10320, together with the right-of-way over the parts of Lot 6 and Lot 2 on D.P. 10320, reserved by Transfer No. 269345, and Transfer No. 286405 respectively, shown coloured blue on the plan on the said Certificate of Title, for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I do also proclaim and declare that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the right to discharge storm-water on Lot 2, D.P. 10320, as reserved by the said conveyances Nos. 105991 and 116011, subject also to the right-of-way, reserved by Transfer No. 286405 over the part of the said Lot 2, D.P. 10320, coloured yellow on the plan on Certificate of Title, Volume 509, folio 237, as appurtenant to Lots 1, 3, 4, and 5 on D.P. 10320, together with the right-of-way over part of Lot 6 on D.P. 10320 (C.T. 495/68), coloured blue on the plan on the said Certificate of Title, Volume 509, folio 237, reserved by Transfer No. 269345, for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

Situated in Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 517, folio 92 (Wellington Land Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 28·56 perches. Being Lot 2, D.P. 10320, Town of Ferryside Extension No. 9, being part of Section 31 of the Harbour District.
Situated in Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 509, folio 237 (Wellington Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of May, 1949.

Defining the Middle-line of a Motor-way in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District, and Revoking a Proclamation Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section four of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1947, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 128 of the twenty-third day of the same month, at page 3778, defining the middle-line of a road in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway, as amended by the Proclamation dated the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 46 of the twenty-first day of the same month, at page 1007—and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a motor-way in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only that land situated within limits shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 128366 referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
COMMENCING at a point on the north-eastern side of the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway No. 7 near the western corner of Section 88, Lawry Settlement, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 32 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Sections 88, 89, 90, 91, 100, 99, 98, 97, and 96, Lawry Settlement; Lot 6, D.P. 19421, being part of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; part of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lots 23 and 24, D.P. 20143, being parts of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lot 1, D.P. 29152, being part of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; parts of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; part of Lot 1, D.P. 18413, being part of Allotment 33, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lot 1, D.P. 31248, being part of Allotment 32, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lot 2, D.P. 31305, being part of Allotment 32, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; part of Lot 3, D.P. 20687, being part of Allotment 29, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; and terminating at a point on the south-eastern side of the Old Commissariat Road, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128366, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
