NOTICE is hereby given that a final meeting of the Shareholders of Solarium Salons, Limited (in liquidation) will be held at the residence of the liquidator, 12 Tranmere Road, Sandringham, Auckland, at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 18th May, 1949, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted, and also for determining by extraordinary resolution how the books and documents of the company and the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 20th day of April, 1949, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ATHOL ALBERT THOMAS, of Taumarunui, Company Secretary, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

NORTH CANTERBURY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers enabling it thereto, the North Canterbury Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan of £4,300, authorized to to be raised by the North Canterbury Electric-power Board under the provisions of section 17 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, for the purpose of redeeming the balance owing in respect of Issue No. 3 of £7,500 of the North Canterbury Electric-power Board Supplementary Reticulation Loan, 1938, the North Canterbury Electric-power Board makes and levies a special rate of 1/80d. in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in those portions of the Rangiora, Kowai, Eyre, Oxford, and Ashley Counties originally constituting the Board’s district (vide Proclamation dated 26th February, 1927), and in that portion of the Waipara County now included in the district; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Henry Thompson Metherell, Chairman of the North Canterbury Electric-power Board, do hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the North Canterbury Electric-power Board held in Rangiora on the 12th day of April, 1949.

WALKERS SHOES, LIMITED
NOTICE TO CREDITORS TO PROVE
THE liquidator of Walker’s Shoes, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, hereby fixes the 20th day of May, 1949, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
