PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto now held for housing purposes is hereby set apart for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood.
Being Section 28, Block LXVII, Town of Rotorua, situated in the Borough of Rotorua, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 894, folio 72 (Auckland Land Registry).

Crown Land in Auckland Land District Set Apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purpose of Part I of the said Act.


SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the County of Waikato, situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood and 9·5 perches, more or less, being Allotment 372, Kirikiriroa Parish.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of April, 1949.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1948.


SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 264 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being part Section 1, Block XIII, Taramarama Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 10/95/55, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plans 1339 and 4514.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of April, 1949.
