Partial Revocation of a Proclamation Declaring Certain Crown Land
to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936
(Tokaanu Development Scheme)

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section five of the Maori Purposes Act, 1939,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the Proclamation made on the twelfth day of November,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and published in the
Gazette on the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-one, at page 3723, affecting Section 1, Block XI,
Puketi Survey District, and part of the Hautu 3f No. 1 Block, in
so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing 2 roods 17·4 perches, more or less, being
part Section 1, Block XI, Puketi Survey District. As the same
is delineated on a plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor
at Wellington, numbered S.O. 21602, and thereon bordered pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 5th day of April, 1949.

Additional Land at Dunedin Taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki–
Bluff Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes of the Waitaki–Bluff Railway.

All situated in Block LXXIII, Town of Dunedin, City of
Dunedin. (S.O. 2430.)
In the Otago Land District ; as the same are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9734, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as
above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 15th day of April, 1949.

Central Railway and for Road-diversion in Connection Therewith

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the purposes of the Otago Central Railway, and that the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road-
diversion in connection therewith.
