At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of
March, 1949
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the
Schedule hereto being taken for Post and Telegraph purposes.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken:
1 rood 6·3 perches.
Being Allotment 18, Section 17, City of Auckland.
Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District (City of
Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35439.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128657, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the leasehold estate in the land
described in the Schedule hereto held by Richard Sievers of Porirua,
Farmer, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease registered
in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 16974, being
taken for better utilization.

Declaring Portion of Road (Puia Street Extension) in the Bay of
Islands County, to be County Road

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of
March, 1949
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twelve of the Public
Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
county road.

SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the North Auckland Land District,
situated in Block XVI, Omapere Survey District, Bay of Islands
County, known as Puia Street Extension, commencing at the
eastern end of Puia Street adjoining the northern boundary of
Section 11, Town of Ngawha, and proceeding thence in an
easterly and southerly direction generally for a distance of
approximately 11 chains and terminating at a point on line
with the production of the southern boundary of Section 41,
Town of Ngawha.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 128676, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A—B.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested
in him by the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct that the District
Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto
shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at the thirty-first day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
