Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Levels County Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of March, 1949
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes and is vested in the Levels County Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Levels County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Levels County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Directing Application of Moneys Received in Respect of the Allanton Domain, Otago Land District, for the Purposes of the Brighton and Maungatua Domain

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys received in respect of the Allanton Domain described in the First Schedule hereto and at the date hereof lying to the credit of the said domain, a sum not exceeding twenty pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Brighton Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, and a sum not exceeding forty pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Maungatua Domain described in the Third Schedule hereto.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—ALLANTON DOMAIN
Block XIII, Town of Allanton: Area, 6 acres 3 roods 25·7 perches.
Also Section 1, Block XXIII, Town of Allanton: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 6 perches.
SECOND SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—BRIGHTON DOMAIN
Sections 49 and 50, Town of Brighton View Extension No. 2, and Section 82, Block VIII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District: Area, 33 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 459.)
Also Sections 47, 60, 61, 62, 63, and 1318R, and part foreshore, and Lot 1, Deposited Plan 2130 (Otago Registry), being part Section 8, situated in Block I, Otokia Survey District: Area, 29 acres 3 roods 5·2 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 1371.)

Recreation Reserve in Canterbury Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the MacKenzie Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the MacKenzie Domain Board.
