All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station TT in Block II, Omahine Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Nukumaru Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly along the western boundaries of that area to the easternmost corner of the Ihupuku Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that area to a point in the middle of the Whenuakura River; thence northerly up the middle of that river to its confluence with the Moeawatea Stream; thence south-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station TT, being the point of commencement.
Ngati Pourua Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station TT in Block II, Omahine Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line to the confluence of the Whenuakura River and the Moeawatea Stream, and up the middle of the Whenuakura River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of the Kaharoa Block No. 3 Sub. 3, situated in Block III, Opaku Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station Puteore in Block VI, Taurakawa Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station Maungarau in Block XII, Taurakawa Survey District, a right line to Trig. Station Pokeka in Block XVI, Taurakawa Survey District, and a right line to Trig. Station Mataimoana in Block IV, Momahaki Survey District; thence southerly along a right line to Trig. Station Ngaupoko in Block XII, Momahaki Survey District, a right line to Trig. Station Te Rewa in Block IV, Nukumaru Survey District; thence westerly along a right line to Trig. Station Orangihoangi; thence north-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station TT, being the point of commencement.

Exemption Order Under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:—
A motor-driver’s licence issued under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940 to any one of the persons described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment on a farm or market-garden of the respective employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

ADDENDUM, December, 1948, to the New Zealand Formulary:—

The following materials are added to the Table of Materials allowed under paragraph (b) of clause 5 of the Drug Tariff (September, 1946):—

Injectio Penicillini Oleosa, B.P., 1948.
Oculentum Penicillini, B.P., 1948.

Also—
Penicillin Oral Tablets containing 50,000 international units of the calcium salt.
Penicillin Ophthalmic Discs containing 250 international units of the calcium salt.

- NEW ZEALAND FORMULARY, PART II
Payments to contracting-chemists shall be in accordance with the price rules under subclause (2) of clause 7 of the Drug Tariff (September, 1946).
- This amendment shall take effect from 1st January, 1949.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice Declaring Land Taken for the Settlement of Discharged Servicemen
WHEREAS applications have been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to transactions which relate to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the applications have been referred is of opinion that the land to which the applications relate is farm land suitable for the settlement of discharged servicemen:
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 3rd day of May, 1948, make orders determining the basic value of the land:
And whereas appeals from the said orders were made within the time prescribed by the said Act:
And whereas the Land Sales Court to whom the said appeals were referred did on the 23rd day of November, 1948, dismiss one of the said appeals and did allow the other appeal in part by increasing the basic value of the land:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of discharged servicemen, and hereby specifies the 31st day of March, 1949, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Kaipara Survey District, containing by admeasurement three hundred and fifty-one (351) acres, more or less, being part of Rautawhiri No. 1 Block numbered 217N and part of Rautawhiri No. 2 Block numbered 288N, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 767, folio 288 (Auckland Registry), limited as to parcels and title.
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District, containing by admeasurement forty-eight (48) acres two (2) roods twelve (12) perches, more or less, being part of Rautawhiri No. 2 Block numbered 288N, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 767, folio 289 (Auckland Registry), limited as to parcels and title.
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District, containing by admeasurement twenty-eight (28) acres two (2) roods seven (7) perches, more or less, being part of Rautawhiri No. 1 Block numbered 217N, and part of Rautawhiri No. 2 Block numbered 288N, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 775, folio 145 (Auckland Registry), limited as to parcels.

And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of discharged servicemen, and hereby specifies the 16th day of December, 1948, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks XI and XII, Hukerenui Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and forty-three (143) acres, more or less, being Allotment 80, Hikurangi Parish, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 45, folio 71 (Auckland Registry).
