Pursuant to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a railway in Blocks XIV and XV, Akatarawa Survey District—viz., a portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation)—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Commencing at a point in Section 223, Hutt District, marked 3 miles on the plan hereinafter referred to, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 32 decimal 86 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Sections 223, 136, 141, 298, and 299, Hutt District, and Railway Reserve, Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, State Forest Reserve, Block XV, Akatarawa Survey District, and terminating at a point marked 4 miles 32 decimal 86 chains, on the plan hereinafter referred to, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Wellington Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128056, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of December, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION
By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
All those areas in the Auckland Land District, Thames County, containing approximately 28 acres 1 rood, and being Sections 21, 22, and 23, Block XII, Tairua Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/61, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan 33764.)

A PROCLAMATION
In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1924.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that area situated in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 39.6 perches, more or less, being Lots 3 and 4 on D.P. 22725, and being part Allotment 37, Manurewa Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/923, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow. A PROCLAMATION
Whereas the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District
Reserve 4537 (formerly part of Lot 2, D.P. 1408, being parts of Rural Sections 977 and 977X), situated in Block V, Pigeon Bay Survey District: Area, 1 acre 3 roods 2 perches, more or less. (Canterbury S.O. plan 7883.)
