A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 39·77 perches.
Being Lot 7 on D.P. 1828, being also part of Sections 371 and 1121, Town of Picton.

Situated in Block XII, Linkwater Survey District (Borough of Picton) (Marlborough R.D.).

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128062, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hawke's Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
