Appointment of Honorary Officers
In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946,
I, Frederick Hackett, Minister of Marine, do hereby appoint the
persons named in the following Schedule to be Honorary Officers
for the Taupo Trout Fishing District shown in such Schedule for
the purposes of Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, such persons to
hold office until the 31st March, 1950.

Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations 1924.—Appointment of Gas Referee
In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in
me by the Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations 1924, I, Arnold

to be Gas Referee for the purposes of the Board of Trade (Gas)
Regulations 1924.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Housing Purposes in the City of Dunedin
Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described
in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes : And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the post-office at Dunedin and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking
of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
Minister of Works at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for housing purposes : And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is
deposited in the post-office at Dunedin and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said
land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking
