A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto held from his Majesty the King by Dudley Raymond Masefield, of Christchurch, Artist, under and by virtue of Renewable Lease No. 1048, Westland Registry, is hereby taken for a tourist and health resort; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken : 1 rood 24 perches.
Being Sections 1 and 2, Town of Waiho Gorge Extension No. 1, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 42, folio 47 (Westland Registry).
