Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the NELSON TOBACCO COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 9th day of August, 1948, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“ That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

“ That the Association be wound up voluntarily;
“ That WALTER RUSSELL CHAPMAN, of Dunedin, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the Association for the purposes of such winding up.”

NOTICE TO DEBENTURE-HOLDERS OF INTENTION TO EXERCISE OPTION IN THE MATTER OF THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES INTEREST REDUCTION AND LOANS CONVERSION ACT, 1932–33, AND THE GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL’S LOANS CONVERSION ORDER, 1934
IN pursuance of section 16 of the Gore Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934, and the terms under which securities authorized by the said order were issued, the Gore Borough Council at a meeting held on the 2nd day of August, 1948, resolved to exercise the option contained in the securities in respect of all debentures maturing on the 1st day of September, 1949, 1st March and 1st September, 1950, 1st March and 1st September, 1951, 1st March and 1st September, 1952, 1st March and 1st September, 1953, and 1st March, 1954, of the Gore Borough Conversion Loan, 1934, and public notice is accordingly hereby given of the Gore Borough Council’s intention to redeem such debentures of the said loan on the 1st day of March, 1949, and the interest thereon will cease on the said day, viz.:—
Debenture Nos. 312–314 (inclusive) for £100 each and 315 for £1,000 maturing 1st September, 1949.
Debenture Nos. 316–319 (inclusive) for £100 each and 320 for £1,000 maturing 1st March, 1950.
Debenture Nos. 321–324 (inclusive) for £100 each and 325 for £1,000 maturing 1st September, 1950.
Debenture Nos. 326–329 (inclusive) for £100 each and 330 for £1,000 maturing 1st March, 1951.
Debenture Nos. 331–334 (inclusive) for £100 each and 335 for £1,000 maturing 1st September, 1951.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the WAIOHIKI CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that, by means of an entry dated 11th August, 1948, in the company’s minute-book pursuant to section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, the following resolution was passed:—
“ That the sale from the company to the Hawke’s Bay Raw Milk Producers’ Co-operative, Limited, in terms of the agreement for sale and purchase bearing date the 18th day of June, 1948, having been consented to by the Land Sales Court, be ratified and confirmed, and that for the purpose of giving effect to and implementing such sale the company be wound up voluntarily, and that THOMAS EDWIN STANFORD, of Pakowhai, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”
All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 20th day of September, 1948, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of the assets.
