GLYN TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of the GLYN TIMBER COMPANY, LIMITED.
At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company, duly convened and held at the registered office of
the company, Launchmen's Buildings, Quay Street, Auckland, on
Wednesday, 28th July, 1948, it was resolved, as a special resolution,
that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. Donald
Henry McDonald be appointed liquidator for the purposes of
the winding-up.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS
ACT, 1928
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works
Act, 1928.
Notice is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work—namely, the realignment and
reconstruction of a portion of the Beach Road Main Highway
passing through or adjoining the several pieces of land referred to
hereunder in the Takapuna Riding of the county, and for the
purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule
hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited
in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at the
Council Chambers, 1 Princes Street, Auckland, and is open for
inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same,
within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to
the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of CAPITAL FINANCE COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary
Liquidation).
Notice is hereby given that a general meeting of members of
the above-named company will be held at 20 Brandon Street,
Wellington, on Friday, 3rd September, 1948, at 12 noon, for the
purpose of having an account laid before them showing the result
of the winding-up and of determining the manner in which the books,
accounts, and documents of the company and of the liquidators
shall be disposed of.

of general legislative force are no longer published
in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any
one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for
filing), subscription 30s. per annum in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
25s. (Volumes for years 1941 and 1942 are out
of print.)
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in
(1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis,
42s. per annum in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating
the purchase of extra copies.
Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now
with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies
may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland,
Christchurch, or Dunedin.
