A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as road :-

0 2 14 Part Lot 7, D.P. 2268, being part Section 2; coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE
ROAD CLOSED
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 2 roods 8 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lots 6 and 11, D.P. 2268, being part Section 2; coloured green.
All situated in Block X, Wyndham Survey District (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5728.)
All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126681, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 30·87 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 19432, being part Allotment 34, Titirangi Parish.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 7,176 acres, more or less, and being Sections 23, 25, and 26, Block XIV, Wangapeka Survey District, and Sections 2, 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block III, Tadmor Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 108/64, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1948.

Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
