A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a
Public Works Depot ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 4 acres O roods
4 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 3759, Lot 1, D.P. 3899, and part Lot 14, D.P.
2320, being part Block LXXVII, Town of Invercargill
(Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5774.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126989, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of July, 1948.

Being part of Section 94 of the Hutt District, D.P. 9309, and being
the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate
of Title, Volume 348, folio 283 (Wellington Land Registry).
