A PROCLAMATION
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Midland Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 3 roods 30 perches.
Being part Section 22, Block V, Inangahua Survey District.
Situated in Inangahua County. (S.O. 9557.)
In the Nelson Land District: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9378, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of July, 1948.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway (Ballast-pit at Balclutha)

A PROCLAMATION
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same year at page 1277, taking land for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway—namely, ballast-pit at Balclutha—as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :-

4 0 24 Section 6, Block XXIV, Township of Balclutha.
2 1 10 Section 7, Block XXIV, Township of Balclutha.
Situated in the Borough of Balclutha.
In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9369, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of July, 1948.

Leasehold Estate in Land taken for a Police-station in the Borough of Greymouth

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Maori Trustee by Adolphus Anderson Shannon, of Greymouth, Baker, under and by virtue of Lease No. 3427, Westland Registry, is hereby taken for a police-station ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken : 14·4 perches.
Being Lot 3 on D.P. 408A, part Section 268A, Block XV, Greymouth or Mawhera Maori Reserve, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 44, folio 63 (Westland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of July, 1948.
