A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire-brigade station and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for broadcasting purposes (transmitting station); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALL those areas in the Gisborne Land District, Waikohu and Opotiki Counties, containing by admeasurement 17,671 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, and described generally as follows:—
All that area containing by admeasurement 17,531 acres, more or less, being Section 2 and part of Section 1, Block II, Sections 1 and 2, Block VI, and part of Section 1, Block VII, Koranga Survey District, Section 1, Block XIV, Moanui Survey District, and Crown land situated in Block II, Koranga Survey District, and Block XIII, Moanui Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east generally by a public road, Section 2, Block XV, Moanui Survey District, Sections 1, 2, and 3, part of Lot 3 on D.P. 1500, and Section 4, all in Block III, Koranga Survey District, and by part of Lot 4 on D.P. 1500; towards the south by permanent State forest—Gazette, 1933, page 8; towards the west by the Paharakeke Block; towards the north by Tahora 2c 2 Block; again towards the west by a reserve along the right bank of the Kahunui Stream; again towards the south by Tahora 2c 2 Block; again towards the west by the Tauranga and Tauwharemanuka Blocks; and towards the north-west by provisional State forest—Gazette, 1920, page 2118, and by the aforesaid reserve along the Kahunui Stream. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 48/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 140 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Section 6, Block III, Koranga Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 48/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Gisborne plan S.O. 4419.)
