221, and 220, Waimana Parish, and the southern boundaries of
Lots 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, and 5, on plan numbered 8930, and lodged in
the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and the southern
boundary of Section 7, Block II, Waimana Survey District, to the
north-eastern corner of Ruatoki D Section 1; thence southerly along
the eastern boundaries of Ruatoki D Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6,
and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle
of the road forming part of the southern boundary of the said
Section 6 ; thence south-westerly along the middle of that road
to a point due north of the north-eastern corner of Te Pohue No. 2
Block, in Block VI, Waimana Survey District; thence southerly
to and along the eastern boundaries of Te Pohue No. 2 and Tuturi-
tanga Blocks to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block;
thence southerly along the watershed between the Whakatane and
Tauranga-Waimana Rivers to the southern boundary of Block VII,
Urewera Survey District, being a point on the eastern boundary
of the Southern Tuhoe Tribal District hereinbefore described; thence
westerly and northerly along that boundary to the north-eastern
corner of Allotment 60D, Rangitaiki Parish, the point of commence-
ment.

THE KAHUNGUNU TRIBAL DISTRICT

All that area in the Auckland, Gisborne, and Hawke's Bay
Land Districts, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost
point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence along a right line in the
direction of Puketapu Trig. Station, in Block VII, Tuahu Survey
District, to its intersection with the north-western boundary of the
Waipaoa Block; thence along the north-western boundary of that
block and its production, passing through Trig. Stations Pukepuke
and Koranga West, to its intersection with a line between Puketapu
and Maungapohatu Trig. Stations ; thence south-easterly along the
last-mentioned line to the western boundary of Tahora No. 2F
Section 2, Subdivision 2, being a point on the boundary of the
Takitimu Tribal District, as described in New Zealand Gazette of
1947, at page 872; thence northerly, easterly, southerly, and south-
easterly generally along the boundary of that tribal district to
Paritu, being a point on the sea-coast in Block XIII, Paritu Survey
District; thence southerly, northerly, and westerly generally along
the sea-coast and a line to the middle of the mouth of the Waikare
River; thence north-westerly generally up the middle of that river
and its tributary forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 3,
Block XII, Waitara Survey District, to and along the north-eastern
boundary aforesaid to Trig. Station B1, Patua Wahine; thence
north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 6,
Block 5, Waitara Survey District, and the production of that bound-
ary to the middle of the Mohaka River; thence northerly generally
up the middle of that river and the middle of the Te Hoe River to
a point in line with the south-western boundary of Heruiwi No. 4
Block; thence north-westerly along a right line to the south-
western corner of Whakatane County; thence north-easterly along
a right line to the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana, the
point of commencement, and including Portland Island.

THE NGATI MARU TRIBAL DISTRICT

All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line
commencing at the mouth of the Waikawau River, in Block IV,
Hastings Survey District; thence southerly generally along the
sea-coast to the northern boundary of the Borough of Thames, as
described in the Thames Borough Boundaries Alteration Act, 1918;
thence along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of the
Borough of Thames to the intersection of the last-mentioned bound-
ary with the north-western boundary of Section 3 of Block VII,
Thames Survey District; thence south-westerly along the last-
mentioned boundary and its production to the middle of the Waihou
River; thence up the middle of the Waihou River to its confluence
with the Hikutaia River, in Block VIII, Waihou Survey District;
thence easterly generally up the middle of that river to its inter-
section with the production of the eastern boundary of Hikutaia
No. 1B 1A Block, in Block V, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence
northerly to and along the said eastern boundary to the north-
eastern corner of Hikutaia No. 1B 1A Block, along a right line to
Trig. Station 89B, along a right line to Trig. Station 94, and along
a right line to Trig. Station 97 (Table Mountain); thence westerly
along a right line to Trig. Station 1091, in Block XV, Hastings
Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to Trig. Station
1099 (Maumaupaki); thence along a right line, passing through
Trig. Station 23E (Papakai), to the intersection of a right line between
the northern head of Tairua Harbour and the source of the Waikawau
River; thence north-westerly along the said right line to the source
of the Waikawau River, and down that river to its mouth, the
point of commencement.

THE WHANAUANGA TRIBAL DISTRICT

All that area in the Auckland Land District, being the Coro-
mandel County and adjacent islands, bounded on the west, north,
and east generally by the sea from the mouth of the Waikawau
River to the north head of Tairua Harbour; thence north-westerly
along a right line in the direction of the source of the Waikawau
River to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Section 5,
Block IV, Whitianga Survey District; thence south-westerly along
that boundary to its south-eastern corner; thence along the eastern
boundary of Section 4, Block IV aforesaid, and the north-eastern
boundaries of Sections 5, 6, and 9, Block VII, Whitianga Survey
District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section;

thence along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said
Section 9 and the south-eastern boundary of Section 8, Block VII
aforesaid, to the southernmost point of the said Section 8; thence
along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Section 7,
Block VII aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of Section 6 of the
said Block VII ; thence along the southern and western boundaries
of Section 6 and the western boundaries of Section 5, Block VII,
and Section 4, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, to their inter-
section with a line between the northern head of Tairua Harbour
and the source of the Waikawau River; thence along that line to
the source of the Waikawau River, and down that river to its mouth,
the point of commencement.

THE RAWHITI TRIBAL DISTRICT

All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a
line commencing at the North Head of Tairua Harbour, in Block X,
Whitianga Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the
Whanaunga Tribal District hereinbefore described; thence north-
westerly along the south-western boundary of that district to the
north-eastern corner of the Ngati Maru Tribal District hereinbefore
described; thence southerly generally along the eastern boundaries
of that district to a point in the middle of the Hikutaia River on the
production of the eastern boundary of Hikutaia No. 1B 1A Block;
thence again southerly along a right line to Trig. Station 1862,
along a right line to the confluence of the Ohinemuri River and the
Waitawheta Stream, along a right line to Trig. Station Karangahake,
and along a right line to Trig. Station 567 (Te Aroha); thence
north-easterly along a right line in the direction of the mouth of the
Waihi Stream to the western boundary of part of Waihi No. 5 Block
(part of Waihi Borough, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1926,
page 3045); thence along the western boundary of the aforesaid
part of Waihi No. 5 Block, across the Waihi Beach Road, and the
southern boundary of the aforesaid part of Waihi No. 5 Block to
its south-eastern corner; thence northerly along the sea-coast to
the south head of Tairua Harbour, in Block XIV, Whitianga Survey
District; thence along a right line to the North Head of Tairua
Harbour, the point of commencement.

THE TAMATERA TRIBAL DISTRICT

All that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line
commencing at the confluence of the Waihou and Hikutaia Rivers,
in Block VIII, Waihou Survey District; thence up the middle of
the Hikutaia River to its intersection with the production of the
eastern boundary of Hikutaia No. 1B 1A Block, in Block V, Ohine-
muri Survey District; thence southerly along a right line to Trig.
Station 1862, and along a right line to the confluence of the
Ohinemuri River and the Waitawheta Stream, in Block I, Aroha
Survey District; thence along a right line to Trig. Station 63
(Karangahake), and along a right line to Trig. Station 567 (Te
Aroha); thence along a right line to the easternmost point of the
Te Aroha Borough, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of
1917, at page 1868; thence along the south-eastern, southern, and
western boundaries of the aforesaid borough to the intersection of
the last-mentioned boundary with the middle of the Waihou River;
thence down the middle of the Waihou River to its intersection
with the southern boundary of the Waihou Survey District; thence
westerly along the said boundary to its intersection with the middle
of the Elstow Canal; thence northerly generally along the middle
of that canal, the Tee Canal, and the Awaiti Canal to the intersection
of the last-mentioned canal with the south-eastern boundary of
Awaiti No. 1J 2A 1 Block, in Block XV, Waihou Survey District;
thence easterly generally along the said south-eastern boundary,
across a public road and the southern side of the Pukahu Road,
and its production to the middle of the Waihou River; thence
northerly generally down the middle of that river and the Ngahina
Canal, and again the Waihou River to its confluence with the
Hikutaia River, the point of commencement.

THE NGATI PAOA TRIBAL DISTRICT

All that area in the North Auckland and Auckland Land
Districts, being parts of Manukau, Franklin, Waikato, and Hauraki
Plains Counties, commencing at a point in the middle of the Waihou
River in line with the production of the north-western boundary of
Section 3, Block VII, Thames Survey District, being a point on
the western boundary of the Ngati Maru Tribal District herein-
before described; thence southerly generally along that boundary
and the western boundary of the Tamatera Tribal District, herein-
before described, to the intersection of the southern boundary of
the Waihou Survey District with the middle of the Elstow Canal;
thence westerly generally to and along the southern boundary of
Waihou Survey District to the middle of the Piako River, up the
middle of that river to a public road forming the northern boundary
of part Maukoro Block, and south-westerly along the middle of
that road to the Morrinsville-Waitakaruru Main Road; thence to
and along the northern boundary of the said Maukoro Block, along
the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block V, Waitoa
Survey District, the eastern and northern boundaries of Maukoro
No. 2B 2 Block, the northern boundary of Section 6, Block IV,
Hapuakohe Survey District, to the middle of Mangawhero Road;
thence northerly along the middle of that road to the north-western
boundary of Section 3, Block IV, Hapuakohe Survey District, along
that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Tainui
Settlement, to the confiscation boundary-line; thence in a northerly
direction along that line to Trig. Station 135 (Rataroa); thence
north-westerly along a right line to the intersection of the middle
of the Pokeno-Miranda Road with the production of the western
boundary of the Wharekawa Survey District; thence to and along
that boundary and the western boundary of Orere Survey District
