(being a part of the southern boundary of the Waikato-Maniapoto
Native Land Court and Maori Land District, as described in the
New Zealand Gazette of 1914, at page 1212); thence westerly along
the confiscation-line to the sea-coast at Parininihi (White Cliffs);
thence northerly generally along the sea-coast to the mouth of the
Waihekura Stream, the point of commencement.

THE PUTAUAKI TRIBAL DISTRICT
All that area in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County,
bounded by a line commencing at Mount Edgecumbe Trig. Station,
in Block XIII, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, and proceeding
northerly along a right line to the westernmost corner of Section 110,
Rangitaiki Parish, in Block VI, Awa o te Atua Survey District,
and the production of that right line to the sea-coast; thence
easterly along the sea-coast to the northerly production of a right
line through Owataiti Trig. Station, in Block 1A, Whakatane Survey
District, to Te Tiringa Trig. Station, in Block VIII, Rangitaiki
Upper Survey District; thence southerly along right lines to Te
Tiringa and Omataroa Trig. Stations, and to the north-eastern
corner of Allotment 60H, Rangitaiki Parish ; thence westerly along
a right line to Mount Edgecumbe Trig. Station, the point of
commencement.

THE NGATIAWA TRIBAL DISTRICT
All that area in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane and
Opotiki Counties, bounded by a line commencing at the north-
eastern corner of the Putauaki Tribal District hereinbefore described,
and proceeding easterly along the sea-coast to the easternmost corner
of Section 6, Block II, Whakatane Survey District; thence north-
easterly along a right line to the north-western point of Whakatane
Heads; thence south-easterly along the sea-coast to the entrance
of Ohiwa Harbour; thence due east along a right line to the middle
of the entrance of Ohiwa Harbour; thence south-westerly along
right lines to Bl Trig. Station on Uretara Island, and thence to
the south-eastern corner of Section 5, Opouriao Settlement, in
Block IX, Whakatane Survey District; thence along the southern
boundaries of Sections 5 and 16, Opouriao Settlement, to the
southern corner of the said Section 16; thence westerly along a
right line to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 60D, Rangitaiki
Parish, in Block XVI, Rangataiki Upper Survey District; thence
along a right line to the south-eastern corner of the said Putauaki
Tribal District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of
that district to its north-eastern corner, the point of commencement.

THE WHAKATOHEA-NGAITAI TRIBAL DISTRICT
All that area in the Gisborne and Auckland Land Districts,
being parts of Opotiki and Waikohu Counties, bounded by a line
commencing at the middle of the entrance to Ohiwa Harbour, in
Block VII, Whakatane Survey District; thence easterly along a right
line to the eastern side of the said entrance, and along the sea-coast
to the south-western boundary of an area of 270 acres 2 roods
25 perches, being part of Tunapahore South Block, situated in
Block III, Tokata Survey District; thence south-easterly generally
along a right line to Trig. Station 1316 (Maungawaru); thence along
a right line to Arowhana Trig. Station, in Block IV, Arowhana Survey
District; thence along a right line to Tuanui-o-te-Kahakaha Trig.
Station, in Block X, Arowhana Survey District; thence along a
right line and its production through Trig. Station 140 to the middle
of the Motu River; thence up the middle of the Motu River to its
confluence with the Whakapaupakihi Stream, in Block II, Motu
Survey District; thence up the middle of the Whakapaupakihi
Stream, to and along the southern boundary of Whakapaupakihi
No. 2 Block to Trig. Station 149A; thence along a right line to
Trig. Station Pokaikiri; thence south-westerly along the north-
western boundaries of Section 2, Block V, Motu Survey District,
Sections 2, 1, and 4, Block IX, Motu Survey District, Sections 3
and 2, Block XII, Moanui Survey District, Small Grazing-runs 90
and 89, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the
western boundary of Tahora Block; thence northerly along a right
line to Kaharoa Trig. Station, in Block II, Waioeka South Survey
District; thence along the south-western boundary of the Tahora
2AD 2 Block to its intersection with the middle of the Waimana
River, in Block XII, Waimana Survey District; thence down the
middle of the Waimana River to its intersection with the south-
western boundary of Waimana No. 1B Block; thence along the
south-western and eastern boundaries of Waimana No. 1B Block
and the eastern boundary of Waimana No. 1c Block to the north-
eastern corner of Section 21, Block IV, Waimana Survey District;
thence along the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Section 21,
the southern boundaries of Allotments 273, 269, and 268, Waimana
Parish, across the Whakatane-Opotiki Main Highway to the south-
eastern corner of Allotment 223, Waimana Parish; thence in a
northerly direction generally along the western side of the Whakatane
-Opotiki Main Highway to its junction with the generally western
side of the Wainui Road, in Block XI, Whakatane Survey District;
thence along the western side of the Wainui Road to a point due
west of the southernmost corner of Lot 4 on the Land Transfer
Plan numbered 14254, lodged in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Auckland; thence north-easterly along a right line
to a point in the middle of the mouth of the Nukuhou River, and a
right line to the middle of the entrance of the Ohiwa Harbour,
being the point of commencement.

THE EASTERN TUHOE TRIBAL DISTRICT
All that area in the Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts,
Whakatane and Opotiki Counties, bounded by a line commencing
at the north-eastern corner of Ruatoki D Section 1, in Block II,
Waimana Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the southern
boundaries of Section 7, Block II, Waimana Survey District, of
Lots 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, on the plan numbered 8930, and lodged
in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and of
Alltoment 220, 221, 223 to the south-eastern corner of that allot-
ment, being a point on the western boundary of the Whakatohea-
Ngaitai Tribal District hereinbefore described; thence southerly
generally along the western boundaries of that district to its inter-
section with the southern boundary of Waioeka South Survey
District; thence westerly along that boundary and the southern
boundary of the Urewera Survey District to the watershed between
the Whakatane and Tauranga-Waimana Rivers; thence northerly
along that watershed to the south-eastern corner of the Tuturitanga
Block, and along the eastern boundaries of that block and of Te
Pohue No. 2 Block to the north-eastern corner of Ruatoki D Section 6;
thence due north along a right line to the middle of the
road forming part of the southern boundary of Ruatoki D Section 6;
thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in
line with the eastern boundary of the said Section 6; thence
northerly to and along that boundary and the eastern boundaries
of Ruatoki D Sections Part 4, 5, Part 4, 3, 2, and 1, to the north-
eastern corner of the last-mentioned section, the point of
commencement.

THE SOUTHERN TUHOE TRIBAL DISTRICT
All that area in the Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts,
Whakatane, Taupo, and Opotiki Counties, bounded by a line com-
mencing at Mount Edgcumbe Trig. Station, in Block XIII, Rangi-
taiki Upper Survey District, and proceeding easterly along right
lines to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 60H, Rangitaiki
Parish, in Block XV, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, and to the
north-eastern corner of Allotment 60D, Rangitaiki Parish ; thence
southerly along the eastern boundaries of Allotments 60D and 60C,
Rangitaiki Parish, to the south-eastern corner of the said Allot-
ment 60c; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that
allotment to Tapapakiakia Trig. Station; thence south-westerly
and south-easterly along right lines to Te Hiwera and Taumatamiri
Trig. Stations, in Block IV, Rangitaiki Lower Survey District;
thence south-easterly along a right line in the direction of Kai-
purapuna Trig. Station to its intersection with the eastern boundary
of Block VIII, Rangitaiki Lower Survey District; thence southerly
along the eastern boundaries of Blocks VIII, XII, and XVI,
Rangitaiki Lower Survey District, and of Blocks IV and VIII,
Galatea Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said
Block VIII; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of
Blocks V, VI, and VII, Urewera Survey District, to the watershed
between the Whakatane and Tauranga-Waimana Rivers; thence
southerly along that watershed to the southern boundary of Urewera
Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary and the
southern boundary of Waioeka South Survey District to the western
boundary of Tahora Block; thence southerly along that boundary
to its intersection with a right line between Mangatapere and
Maungapohatu Trig. Stations; thence westerly along that line to
Maungapohatu Trig. Station; thence south-easterly along a right
line in the direction of Puketapu Trig. Station to its intersection
with the north-western boundary of Waipaoa Block; thence south-
westerly along that north-western boundary, passing through Trig.
Stations Koranga West and Pukepuke, to its intersection with a
right line between Puketapu Trig. Station and the northernmost
point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence westerly along that right
line to Lake Waikaremoana, and along right lines to Te Taumutu
and Pukeroa Trig. Stations, in Blocks XVI and XI, Heruiwi Survey
District; thence northerly along a right line in the direction of
Tiritiri Trig. Station to the intersection with the production of a
right line between Trig. Station 4, in Block VII, Heruiwi Survey
District, and the southernmost point of Lot 9 on the plan
numbered 21389, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar
at Auckland; thence westerly to and along that right line to the
southernmost point of Lot 9 aforesaid; thence northerly along the
eastern boundary of that lot to Ngapuketurua Trig. Station, in
Block VI, Heruiwi Survey District; thence northerly along a right
line to Wairapukao Trig. Station, in Block VI, Wheao Survey
District; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Kai-
ngaroa la South and la North Blocks to the south-western corner
of the last-mentioned block; thence northerly along the western
boundary of the said la Block to its northernmost corner; thence
along a right line to Trig. Station 38A, in Block IX, Kaingaroa
Survey District; thence easterly along a right line to Trig. Station
H, in Block V, Galatea Survey District; thence northerly along a
right line to Mount Edgecumbe Trig. Station, the point of
commencement.
