of the Mangarangiora Stream to the northernmost corner of Manga- poike No. 2D Block, in Block IV, Opoiti Survey District, and a right line to the north-western corner of Whakaongaonga 262 Block; thence north-westerly, northerly, and north-easterly generally along the generally eastern side of the road forming the south-western boundaries of Sections 46, 45, 44, 51, again 44, and 48, all of Block XVI, Hangaroa Survey District, Section 3, Block XII of that survey district, Sections 1, Part 5, 6, 10, 8, Part 3, Part 2, the southern boundary of part Section 21, all of Block VIII, Hangaroa Survey District, and the south-eastern boundary of part Hangaroa-Matawai No. 2c; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of the road forming the north-western boundary of Hangaroa Village and the production of that side to the middle of the Hangaroa River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the generally northern side of the Gisborne-Waikaremoana Road; thence south-westerly along a right line to the northern side of that road; thence westerly generally along the northern side of that road to the middle of the Kawaimango Stream, in Block I, Hangaroa Survey District; thence south-westerly up the middle of that stream to the eastern boundary of Lot 21 of Tahora 2F Section 2 Block; thence northerly along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Lot 24 of Tahora 2c1 Section 3 Block; thence westerly generally along the northern boundary of that block, the northern boundary of Lot 23 of Tahora 2c1 Section 3 Block; thence north-westerly and southerly along the north-eastern and western boundaries of Lot 18 of Tahora 2F Section 2 Block, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Stations Puketapu and Maungapohatu; thence southerly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block X, Tuahu Survey District, along the south-eastern side of the road forming the north-western boundaries of that section and Section 3 of that block, the western boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, Block XIII, Tuahu Survey District, passing through Matukuhia Native Reserve, and forming the south-western boundary of Small Grazing-run 81; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary and its production of Whataroa Native Reserve No. 5 to the middle of a stream; thence southerly generally down that stream and the Mangaruhe River to a point opposite the generally south-eastern side of a road passing through Section 10s, Ohuka Settlement, and forming the northern boundaries of Sections 9s and 11s of that settlement; thence south-easterly and easterly along the north-eastern and northern sides of the road forming the south-western and southern boundaries of Section 11s aforesaid and the southern boundaries of Section 9s aforesaid, Section 3, Block III, Taramarama Survey District, Section 2, Block IV, Taramarama Survey District, and passing through Tamariki Native Reserve to a point in the middle of the Mangaruhe River; thence easterly generally down the middle of that river, up the Wairoa River, the Mangapoike River, and the Mangarangiora Stream to the point of commencement.
Waikaremoana Tribal Committee Area All that area bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence along a right line in the direction of Puketapu Trig. Station, in Block VII, Tuahu Survey District, to its intersection with the north-western boundary of the Waipaoa Block; thence along the north-western boundary of that block and its production, passing through Trig. Stations Pukepuke and Koranga West, to its intersection with a line between Puketapu and Maungapohatu Trig. Stations; thence south-easterly along the last-mentioned line to the western boundary of Tahora No. 2F Section 2, Subdivision 2, being a point on the western boundary of the Te Reinga Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly generally along that boundary to the westernmost corner of Section 11s, Ohuka Settlement; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of Ohuka Road to its junction with the Wairoa-Waikaremoana Main Highway; thence westerly generally along the southern side of that highway to the middle of the Waihi River, up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Small Grazing-run 109, along that boundary and the northern boundary of Small Grazing-run 108, and a right line to the southern end of Lake Waikaremoana; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western shores of that lake to the mouth of the Waiharuru Stream; thence north-westerly up the middle of that stream to its intersection with a right line from the south-western corner of Whakatane County to the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence north-easterly along that line to the said northernmost point, being the point of commencement.
Frasertown Tribal Committee Area All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the Waiharuru Stream on the right line from the south-western corner of Whakatane County to the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana, being a point on the western boundary of the Waikaremoana Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly and easterly generally along the western and southern boundaries of that area, the southern boundaries of Te Reinga Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly along the western boundaries of the Whakaki Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of the Taihoa Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to a point in the middle of the Wairoa River in line with the northern boundary of Paeroa No. 268 Block; thence north-westerly generally up that river and the Waiau River; thence south-westerly generally up the middle of the Tutaekuri Stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 3, Block XV, Taramarama Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and the southern boundaries of Section 5, Block XIV, Taramarama Survey District, Tutaekuri No. 1c6 Block, Sections 6, 7, and 8,
Block XIV aforesaid; thence southerly, westerly, and north-westerly along the eastern, southern, and south-western boundaries of Block XX, Taramarama Survey District, being the eastern, southern, and south-western boundaries of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 383, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Gisborne, and a right line to the middle of Cricklewood Road; thence northerly generally along the middle of that road and its production to the middle of the Waiau River; thence westerly generally up the middle of that river to its intersection with the right line from the south-western corner of Whakatane County to the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence north-easterly along that right line to the Waiharuru Stream, being the point of commencement.
Taane-Mitirangi Tribal Committee Area All that area bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Waihua River, in Block XI, Waihua Survey District; thence northerly generally up the middle of that river to the middle of the Napier-Wairoa Main Highway, along the middle of that highway and the road passing through Waihua Rural Sections 1, Part 2, 3, 4, and 5, Section 1, Block X, Waihua Survey District, Section 4, Block III, Waihua Survey District, and forming the western boundaries of Section 1, Block III aforesaid, to the south-western corner of Block XX, Taramarama Survey District, being the south-western corner of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 383, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Gisborne, and being a point on the southern boundary of the Frasertown Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence easterly generally along that boundary, southerly, south-westerly, easterly, and again south-westerly along the boundaries of the Taihoa, Takitimu, and again Taihoa Tribal Committee Areas hereinbefore described to the mouth of the Wairoa River; thence south-westerly to and along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Waihua River, being the point of commencement.
Mohaka Tribal Committee Area All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the mouth of the Waikare River; thence north-westerly generally up the middle of that river and its tributary forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block XII, Waitara Survey District, to and along the north-eastern boundary aforesaid to Trig. Station B1 (Patua Wahine); thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 6, Block V, Waitara Survey District, and the production of that boundary to the middle of the Mohaka River; thence northerly generally up the middle of that river and the middle of the Te Hoe River to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Heruiwi No. 4 Block; thence north-westerly along a right line to the south-western corner of Whakatane County; thence north-easterly along a right line in the direction of the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana to the middle of the Waiau River, being a point on the south-western boundary of the Frasertown Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly, easterly, and again south-easterly along the boundaries of that area and the Taane-Mitirangi Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to a point in the middle of the mouth of the Waihua River; thence south-westerly to and along the sea-coast and to a point in the middle of the mouth of the Waikare River, being the point of commencement.

NGATI MARU TRIBAL DISTRICT Thames North Tribal Committee Area All that area bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Waikawau River, in Block IV, Hastings Survey District; thence southerly generally along the sea-coast to the northern boundary of the Borough of Thames, as described in the Thames Borough Boundaries Alteration Act, 1918; thence along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of the Borough of Thames to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary with the north-eastern boundary of Section 3 of Block VII, Thames Survey District; thence south-westerly along the last-mentioned boundary and its production to the middle of the Waihou River; thence up the middle of the Waihou River to its intersection with the production of the north-western boundary of Hurumoimoi Block; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 1089, and along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 95 (Hihi), in Block I, Tairua Survey District, to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Stations 94 and 97; thence northerly along that right line to Trig. Station 97; thence westerly along a right line to Trig. Station 1091; thence northerly along a right line to Trig. Station 1099 (Maumaupaki), and along a right line, passing through Trig. Station 23E (Papakai), to the intersection of a right line between the northern head of Tairua Harbour and the source of the Waikawau River; thence north-westerly along the said right line to the source of the Waikawau River; thence down that river to its mouth, the point of commencement.
Thames Central Tribal Committee Area All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waihou River in line with the north-western boundary of Hurumoimoi Block; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 1089, and along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 95 (Hihi), Block I, Tairua Survey District, to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Stations 97 and 94; thence southerly along that right line to Trig. Station 94, in Block IX, Tairua Survey District; thence south-westerly along a right line to the confluence of the Puriri and Waihou Rivers; thence down the middle of the Waihou River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Hurumoimoi Block, the point of commencement.
