The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of
Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the
Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby
gives notice of his intention to take the land described in the Schedule
hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 16th day of
June, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land is required,
and the 5th day of April, 1948, as the date on or before which
objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Block I, Wairere Survey District,
containing by admeasurement one hundred and one (101) acres
one (1) perch, more or less, being Lot 27 on Deposited Plan 12904,
being part Orongomairoa Block, and being all the land described
in certificate of title, Vol. 639, folio 108 (Auckland Registry).

Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the
Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby
gives notice of his intention to take the land described in the
Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the
16th day of June, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land
is required, and the 5th day of April, 1948, as the date on or before
which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement one hundred
and twenty-seven (127) acres two (2) roods, more or less, being part
Section 18, Block XI, Aroha Survey District, and being all the land
described in certificate of title, Vol. 261, folio 168 (Auckland
Registry).

30th day of June, 1948, as the date on which possession of the
land is required, and the 31st day of March, 1948, as the date on
or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the
said Act.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL those parcels of land containing seven hundred and twenty-two
(722) acres thirty-five (35) perches, more or less, being :—
Seventeen (17) acres two (2) roods, being Section 12, Block XII,
Cape Survey District, and being all of the land in certificate of
title, Vol. 11, folio 70.
Twenty-five (25) acres, being Section 13, Block XII, Cape
Survey District, and being all of the land in certificate of title,
Vol. 24, folio 213.
Twenty-four (24) acres three (3) roods thirty (30) perches,
being Section 22, Block XII, Cape Survey District, and being all
of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 14, folio 96.
One-hundred and thirty (130) acres three (3) roods, being
Section 83, Block XII, Cape Survey District, and being all of the
land in certificate of title, Vol. 28, folio 30.
One hundred and fifty-two (152) acres, being Section 28,
Block XII, Cape Survey District, and being all of the land in

Three hundred and twenty (320) acres, being Section 78,
Block VIII, Cape Survey District, and being all of the land in
certificate of title, Vol. 22, folio 220.
Fifty-two (52) acres five (5) perches, being Pungarehu B 2
Block, formerly part Section 23, Block XII, Cape Survey District,
and being all of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 91, folio 80
(Taranaki Registry).

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area of land containing by admeasurement one hundred
(100) acres, more or less, being Section 68, Block VIII, Cape Survey
District, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title,
Vol. 15, folio 64 (Taranaki Registry).
Also all that area of land containing by admeasurement one
hundred (100) acres, more or less, being Section 69, Block VIII,
Cape Survey District, and being all the land comprised in certificate
of title, Vol. 11, folio 56 (Taranaki Registry).
Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement
one hundred and sixty-four (164) acres three (3) roods and four (4)
perches, more or less, being Lot 2, Deposited Plan 4152, part
Section 77, Block VIII, Cape Survey District, and being all the land
comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 103, folio 49 (Taranaki Registry).

hundred and sixty-seven (1,667) acres, more or less, being Section 31,
Block VIIIA, Waimata Survey District, and Sections 30 and 32,
Block V, Whangara Survey District, and being all the land
comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 35, folio 145 (Gisborne Registry).

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
FIRSTLY, all that area containing by admeasurement five hundred
and seven (507) acres and fifteen (15) perches, situated in Block IV
of the Maraekakaho Survey District and Block I of the Te Mata
Survey District, being Lots 2 and 3 on Deposited Plan 7048, which
said parcel of land comprises parts of the Ngatarawa No. 2E 8,
No. 3, and No. 5 Blocks, and is all the land in certificate of title,
Vol. 111, folio 137 (Hawke’s Bay Registry), subject to drainage
rights granted in and by Transfer 26709 (copied 9th December,
1932).
Together with the appurtenant right-of-way granted in and by
Transfer 26709 (copied 9th December, 1932).
