Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921β22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH LAND LAND DISTRICT.-SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY ALL those areas in the Southland Land District, Wallace County, containing by admeasurement 3,226 acres 2 roods 5 perches, more or less, and being Section 42, Block I, Section 53, and part Section 52, Block III, Sections 15 and 16, Block V, and Sections 12, 13, 18, 19, and 27, Block VII, Aparima Hundred, Section 45, Block VIII, and Section 5, Block XXII, Jacobs River Hundred, and Sections 11, 13, 15, and 17, Block XII, Longwood Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on plans No. 210/22, 210/23, 210/24, and 210/25, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1947.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Rotorua County, containing by admeasurement 170 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Section 16 (formerly part Section 1), Block III, Horohoro Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1450/1552A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of November, 1947.

Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitations of Area

His EXCELLENG CY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
P URSUANT to section forty-one of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, and section forty of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by John Huntly Hay, of Clyde, Farmer, of the freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XIII of the Land Act, 1924, and of the leasehold land described in the Second Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of section one hundred and seven of the Land Act, 1924.
FIRST SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
All those parcels of land containing together 1,187 acres and 16 perches, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 4, and 5, Block XII, and Sections 3, 6, and 24, Block XIII, Maungatua Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 242, folio 274 (Otago Registry).
All those parcels of land containing together 558 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block XIII, and Section lA, Block XV, Maungatua Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 242, folio 275 (Otago Registry).
All those parcels of land containing together 97 acres 1 rood 39.5 perches, more or less, being Sections 21, 27, 28, 38, 40, 1145R, and parts of Sections 17, 29, and 35, Block XV, Maungatua Survey District, and being the balance of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 242, folio 276 (Otago Registry).
All those parcels of land containing together 120 acres 2 roods 38.5 perches, more or less, being Sections 1 of 11 and 13, and parts of Section 44, Block II, Maungatua Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 267, folio 161, limited as to parcels (Otago Registry).
All those parcels of land containing together 162 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Sections 1 of 36, 2 of 36, and 38, Block II, Maungatua Survey District, being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 267, folio 162, limited as to parcels (Otago Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
All that parcel of land containing 753 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less, being part of Section 6, Block VIII, Waipori Survey District, and being part of the land leased to Marion Louisa Reid, wife of Maurice Hilton Reid, of Berwick, Sheep-farmer, under lease in perpetuity, and registered in Volume 115, folio 77 (Otago Registry).
All that parcel of land containing 1,251 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Section 7, Block VIII, Waipori Survey District, and being all the land leased to Marion Louisa Reid, wife of Maurice Hilton Reid, of Berwick, Sheep-farmer, under small grazing-run lease, and registered in Volume 290, folio 191 (Otago Registry).
All that parcel of land containing together 1,000 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less, being Sections 7, 8, 13, 14, 16, and 23, Block XIII, and Section 20A, Block XV, Maungatua Survey District, and being all the land leased to Maurice Hilton Reid, of Woodside, Farmer, under renewable lease and registered in Volume 157, folio 8 (Otago Registry).
All that parcel of land containing together 719 acres 0 roods 21 perches, more or less, being Sections 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block XIII, Maungatua Survey District, and being all the land leased to Gerald Forbes McKellar, of Dunedin, Civil Servant, under lease in perpetuity, and registered in Volume 108, folio 13 (Otago Registry).
All that parcel of land containing 18 acres 1 rood 12 perches, more or less, being Section 46, Block XV, Maungatua Survey District, and being all the land leased to Bertha Winifred McKellar, wife of Gerald Forbes McKellar, of Dunedin, Civil Servant, under lease in perpetuity, and registered in Volume 183, folio 160 (Otago Registry).

His EXCELLENG CY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
P URSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Levin Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 16 of a subdivision of Sections 16 and 17, Levin Village Settlement (as shown on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of forty feet from the centre-line of the proposed street, or on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 19 of a subdivision of Sections 16 and 17, Levin Village Settlement (as shown on the said plan), within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the proposed street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Levin, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 27.3 perches, more or less, being part Section 16, Levin Village Settlement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126349, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
