A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of Land taken:

36 2 29 Part Wanganui Industrial School Reserve, part being Lots 1A, 2A, 4A, 6A, and 7A, Deeds Plan 73, and Lots 1 to 14 and 30 to 34, Deeds Plan 444; coloured blue.
0 2 20·42 Lots 15, 16, and 17, Deeds Plan 444, being part Wanganui Industrial School Reserve; coloured sepia.
1 3 13·28 Lots 20 to 29, Deeds Plan 444, being part Wanganui Industrial School Reserve; coloured orange.
Situated in Block V, Westmere Survey District (City of Wanganui.) (S.O. 21577.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P:W.D. 126213, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1947.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel-pit; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres 3 roods 25 perches.
Being part Horowhenua 3E No. 2 Subdivision 2.
Situated in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District. (S.O. 21519.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125239, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 32·2 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 32859, being part Allotment 75, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 867, folio 294 (Auckland Land Registry).

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Canterbury as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 11 acres 2 roods 21·2 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 11232, part Rural Sections 142 and 299. Situated in the City of Christchurch (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7833.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124800, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post and telegraph purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 23·4 perches.
Being the whole of the land on D.P. 12836, and part Lot 19, D.P. 1603, being portions of a block situated in the Waihou Survey District, called Hararahi No. 1, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Volume 311, folio 139, and Volume 194, folio 282 (Auckland Land Registry).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 22·1 perches.
Being Lot 14, D.P. 4603, and being part Allotment 31 of Small Farms near Onehunga; and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 164, folio 275 (Auckland Land Registry).
