Land taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes in the City of Nelson

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

Situated in the City of Nelson (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9495.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126236, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of October, 1947.

PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street:

Situated in Block IV, Paritutu Survey District (Borough of New Plymouth) (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 8270.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126173, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street:
0·7 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 15258, being part Clendon’s Grant.

Situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District (Borough of Manurewa) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34543.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126197, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Native land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 28 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, situated in the Orahiri Survey District, and known as Otorohanga Q No. 3A, being all the land comprised and described in a partition order of the Native Land Court dated the 9th day of March, 1905.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1947.

Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitation of Area

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of October, 1947

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and acquisition by Mangaohane Station, Limited, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 4 acres, more or less, being part of the Mangaohane Ic Block, and being also Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 7655, situated in Block XII, Motupuha Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 361, folio 152 (Wellington Registry).

PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and acquisition by Thomas Bortlwick and Sons (Australasia), Limited, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 9·33 perches, more or less, being the Tawhiti 1B 1E, 1B 1F, and 1B 1G Blocks, situated in Block IV, Tokomaru Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 76, folio 240 (Gisborne Registry).
