Vesting a Reserve in the Gisborne Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of October, 1947
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Gisborne:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Gisborne, in trust, for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in the Borough of Gisborne, containing 1 acre 1 rood 28·44 perches, more or less, being Subdivision 123 on plan No. 4004 (blue) in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Gisborne, and being part of Lot 18, D.P. 1789 (part Section 209), part of Lot 3 of Section 210, and part Section 212, Gisborne Suburban, and being part of the land comprised in Certificates of Title, Volume 88, folio 166, and Volume 91, folio 48 (Gisborne Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/2, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for county buildings: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Coromandel:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Coromandel, in trust, for county buildings.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of October, 1947

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby licence and permit the Arapawa Maori Rowing Club, of Picton (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in Waikawa Bay, Picton Harbour, Queen Charlotte Sound, as shown on approved plan marked M.D. 8661, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a boat-shed as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

THIS licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of October, 1947.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.), and the annual sum so payable one pound (£1).

The South-western Side of Portion of Reid Street and the North-eastern Side of Portion of Lethaby Street, in the Borough of Green Island, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of October, 1947
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Green Island Borough Council on the fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, in so far as it affects the sides and portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:
“ That the Green Island Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Green Island, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to those portions of Lethaby and Reid Streets abutting on Allotments 7, 17, 18, and 19, D.P. 587, Block 24, Township of Burnside Extension ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Reid Street or the north-eastern side of the portion of Lethaby Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.
SCHEDULE
THE south-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, Borough of Green Island, known as Reid Street, fronting Lot 19, Block XXIV, D.P. 587, Extension of Township of Burnside.
Also the north-eastern side of all that portion of street in the said land district and borough, known as Lethaby Street, fronting Lots 7, 17, and 18, Block XXIV, D.P. 587, Extension of Township of Burnside.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124609, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, viz.:
“ That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-eastern side of the portion of Woodhaugh Street adjoining Lots 5, 6, and 7, D.P. 297, Township of Woodhaugh, such land being comprised and described in certificate of Title 55/148 ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Woodhaugh Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE
