said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of
the Kumara Junction Public Hall Board, in pursuance of section
seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928:
And whereas it is desirable that Harold Francis Hayes, of Kumara
Junction, should be appointed a member of the said Board in place
of Lloyd Stanley Hayden, resigned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section
seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said
Harold Francis Hayes
to be a member of the Kumara Junction Public Hall Board, con-
stituted by the Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of October,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, hereinbefore referred
to, in place of the said Lloyd Stanley Hayden, resigned.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Te Puke Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
October, 1947
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve for a site for a public pound and is vested in the
Te Puke Borough Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land
as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Te Puke
Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the
vesting in the Te Puke Borough Council of the land described in
the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a
reserve duly set apart for plantation purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation
over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose
of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby changed from a reserve for plantation purposes to a
reserve for recreation purposes.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 7Β·9 perches,
more or less, being Lot 164 as shown on the plan numbered 31409,
deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland,
and being part Allotment 15 on Herald Island, Parish of
Paremoremo. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 25/846B, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

section one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,

from a reserve for road purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

ALL that area situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, con-
taining by admeasurement 38 perches, more or less, being the road
reserve shown as Lot 89 on the plan numbered 732, lodged in the
office of the Registrar of Deeds at Auckland, being part of Allot-
ment 48 of Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/392E,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in Westland Land District brought under Part II
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the Westland Land District described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation
of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said
Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Wataroa
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public
domain by the Wataroa Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 3 roods
8Β·5 perches, more or less, being part Lot 7 on D.P. 762, and being
part Section 95, Block XIV, Wataroa Survey District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a site for
a drill-shed for the use of the Hampden Rifle Volunteers over the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare
that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land
available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
