Land proclaimed as Street in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 1 acre 1 rood 27 perches.

Being part Allotment 29, Titirangi Parish, on D.P. 312.

Situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District (City of Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33631.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125812, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of August, 1947.

District reconstituted under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Clutha and Balclutha Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby reconstituted one registration district the name whereof shall be the Balclutha District, and the boundaries whereof shall be conterminous with the boundaries of the marriage district bearing the same name as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908 :

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of August, 1947.

District reconstituted under the Marriage Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Marriage Act, 1908 I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Clutha and Balclutha Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby reconstituted one marriage district, the name and boundaries whereof shall be as follows :—

BALCLUTHA DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Bruce and Clutha Counties, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Block IX, Warepa Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundary of that block and its production to the Kaihiku Stream; thence easterly and northerly down that stream to the Clutha River; thence south-easterly to and along the right bank of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block II, Hillend Survey District; thence north-easterly across the Clutha River to and along that boundary; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Block II aforesaid; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of Block VI, Hillend Survey District, to Stony Creek; thence south-easterly generally down that creek to Tuakitoto Lake; thence southerly along the western shore of that lake to the road passing through Section 2, Block XII, South Tuakitoto Survey District; thence westerly along that road, the road passing through Section 1, Block XI, North Molyneux Survey District, and the road forming the north eastern boundary of Section 8, Block X, North Molyneux Survey District, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of the said Section 8; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the left bank of the Matau River; thence southerly generally down the left bank of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 7, Block IV, Inchelutha Survey District; thence south-westerly across the Matau River, to and along the last-mentioned boundary and its production across a road to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2 on the Land Transfer Plan numbered 4040, lodged in the office of the District Land Registrar at Dunedin; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the north-western side of Telegraph Road; thence south-westerly along that road and its production to the left bank of the Koau River; thence southerly generally down the left bank of that river and the Clutha River, to and along the sea-coast to the north-eastern corner of Glenomaru Survey District; thence westerly generally along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Section 47, Block IV of that district, the north-eastern boundary of Section 30, the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 20, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 23, the north-eastern boundary of Section 26, all of Block IV aforesaid, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence southerly along the western boundaries of that section and Section 32, Block IV aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of Section 63, Block III, Glenomaru Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of that section, the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Section 59, the north-eastern boundary of Section 58, and the north-western boundaries of Sections 58 and 56, all of Block III aforesaid; thence southerly generally along the western and south-western boundaries of Section 48, the western boundaries of Sections 57, 31, and 14, all of Block III aforesaid, to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 18, Block III aforesaid; thence westerly generally to and along that boundary, a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section 35, Block III aforesaid, along the southern and western boundaries of that section, the south-western boundaries of Section 37, Block III aforesaid, and Section 16, Block IX, Glenomaru Survey District, the western boundaries of that section and Section 8, the southern boundaries of Sections 14 and 2, and the western boundary of the said Section 2, all of Block IX aforesaid, part of the southern and western boundaries of Section 5, the southern boundaries of Section 34, the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 35, and the south-western boundaries of Section 36, all of Block X, Glenomaru Survey District; thence southerly to and along the western boundary of Section 53, Block IX aforesaid, and across a public road to the north-eastern corner of Section 32, Block II, Catlins Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of that section and Sections 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, and 26, all of Block II aforesaid, to the Little Puerua; thence northerly down the Little Puerua to the southern boundary of Block IX, Warepa Survey District; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that block to its south-western corner, being the point of commencement.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL those areas in the Westland Land District, Grey County, containing by admeasurement 1,966 acres 0 roods 26 perches, more or less, and described generally as follows :—

All that area containing 1,675 acres, more or less, being Section 3098 and Crown land (formerly residence-site), Block II, Ahaura Survey District, Sections 3099, 3100, part of Sections 3109, 3150, and 3156, and Crown land (formerly residence-site), Block VI, Ahaura Survey District, and Sections 3101, 3102, and part of Section 3203, Block VII, Ahaura Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 3098, Block II, Ahaura Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 3098, 3099, 3100, 3101, and 3102; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Section 3102 to the Ahaura–Kopara Road; thence in a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern side of that road to the south-eastern corner of Section 3101; thence in a southerly direction generally across the Ahaura–Kopara Road to the north-western corner of Section 3246; thence in a southerly, westerly, and north-westerly direction generally along the boundary of Reserve 1738 (provisional State forest—Gazette, 1930, page 3127) to Frolli Road; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern side of Frolli Road to the Ahaura–Kopara Road; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-western side of that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 3098; and thence in a north-easterly direction across the Ahaura–Kopara Road to and along the north-western boundary of Section 3098 to the point of commencement: excluding therefrom all public roads and gravel reserves.
