Also all that area containing 290 acres, more or less, being part of Sections 3109 and 3150, Block VI, Ahaura Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the south-western corner of Section 3109, Block VI, Ahaura Survey District, and thence in a northerly direction along the eastern side of Froli Road to its intersection with the western boundary of Reserve 1738 (provisional State forest—Gazette 1930, page 3127); thence generally in a south-easterly direction along the western and south-western boundaries of the aforesaid Reserve 1738 to the Ahaura River; thence generally in a north-westerly direction along the right bank of the Ahaura River to a point due south of the south-western corner of Section 3109; and thence due north to the point of commencement.
Also all that area containing 1 acre 0 roods 13 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block VI, and Sections 30, 31, and 32, Town of Orwell Creek, situated in Block II, Ahaura Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on Plan 120/39, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of August, 1947.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 2,833 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being Sections 6, 10, 11, 12, and 13, Block XV, Tadmor Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 108/62, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of August, 1947.

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Kawhia and Otorohanga Counties, containing by admeasurement 445 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, being Sections 17 and 19, Block VI, Pirongia Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 36/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plans S.O. 32396, 33038.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of August, 1947.

PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.
