A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 2 acres O roods 16.6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotments 87B, 87c, and Part 87, Titirangi Parish, on D.P. 17124.
Situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33521.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124648, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of January, 1947.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.-CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Amuri County, containing by admeasurement 90 acres O roods 15 perches, being Section 42, Block II, Lyndon Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 129/49, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of January, 1947.

Revocation of the Reservation of a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto, hereinafter designated "the said land," is an area of five acres, more or less, taken for the purpose of a forest ranger's station under the Public Works Act, 1908, by proclamation dated the eleventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the Gazette of the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five :
And whereas the said land is not now required for the purpose of a State forest and it is desirable and expedient that its reservation for the purpose be revoked :
And whereas in accordance with the provisions of section nineteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives have by resolutions each passed on the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, respectively agreed to the reservation over the said land being revoked :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921-22, do declare that the reservation over the said land for the purposes of a State forest is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.-SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being part of Section 5, Block XIV, Rimu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows :
Towards the north-west and north-east by a public road 495.5 links and 907.5 links respectively ; and towards the south-east and south-west by the other part of Section 5 aforesaid, 553.5 links, 788.9 links, and 213.8 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 218/20, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of January, 1947.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto, herein-after designated "the said land," is an area of 38.8 perches, more or less, taken for the purpose of a forest ranger's station under the Public Works Act, 1908, by proclamation dated the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six :
And whereas the said land is not now required for the purpose of a State forest and it is desirable and expedient that its reservation for that purpose be revoked :
And whereas in accordance with the provisions of section nineteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives have by resolutions each passed on the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, respectively agreed to the reservation over the said land being revoked :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section forty-one of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by the Whakatane Paper Mills, Limited, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XIII of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing 2 acres 3 roods 33.9 perches, being part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 25604, being part of the portion of Allotment 29, Parish of Rangitaiki, called Rangitaiki Parish, Lot 29F No. 1, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 802, folio 139 (Auckland Registry).
