Turanganui Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Hamanatua Stream in Block VIII, Turanganui Survey District; thence westerly generally along the sea-coast to a point in line with the north-eastern side of the public road forming the south-western boundary of the public abattoir site (New Zealand Gazette, 1902, page 670); thence north-westerly to and along that public road to the middle of Awapuni Road; thence northerly along a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 48, Block II, Turanganui Survey District; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of Cameron Street to the easternmost corner of Section 51, Block II aforesaid; thence easterly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Waimata River, on the production of the south-western boundary of Section 16, Block IV, Turanganui Survey District, and being a point on the western boundary of the Whangara Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of that area to the mouth of the Hamanatua Stream, being the point of commencement, and including Tuamotu Island.

Tarere Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea-coast in line with the north-eastern side of the public road forming the south-western boundary of the public abattoir site (New Zealand Gazette, 1902, page 670); thence south-westerly along the sea-coast and a line to the middle of the mouth of the Waipaoa River; thence northerly generally up the middle of that river to a point opposite the north-western corner of Section 18, Block I, Waimata Survey District; thence easterly generally along the northern boundaries of that section to the north-eastern corner thereof; thence south-easterly to and along the south-western side of the Opotiki-Gisborne Main Highway to a point in line with the northern side of Harper’s Road; thence north-easterly along that road and across the Back Ormond Road; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of that road to the north-western side of the Waimata Valley Road; thence north-easterly along that road to the easternmost corner of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 2401, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Gisborne; thence easterly and northerly generally along the middle of the road passing through Lot 11 on the plan numbered 804, deposited as aforesaid, and between the said Lot 11 and Lot 6 on the aforesaid plan to a point in the middle of the Waimata River; thence southerly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 16, Block IV, Turanganui Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Turanganui Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence westerly and southerly generally along the northern and western boundaries of that area to a point on the sea-coast in line with the north-eastern side of the public road forming the south-western boundary of the public abattoir site aforesaid, being the point of commencement.

Parihimanih Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waipaoa River opposite the north-western corner of Section 18, Block I, Waimata Survey District; thence northerly generally up the middle of that river and the Mangataikehu Stream to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Ahirau No. 2B Block; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundaries of Ahirau Nos. 2c, 2F, and 2G Blocks and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mangarueke Stream; thence easterly generally up the middle of that stream to the south-eastern boundary of Papakorokoro No. 4 Block; thence north-easterly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of the Papakorokoro No. 6 Block; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the Waihora No. 2B No. 1 Block to its southernmost corner; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of that block and of the Waihora No. 2B No. 2 Block to the southern boundary of Small Grazing-run 44A; thence easterly along that boundary to the middle of the Hinekiwawhia Stream; thence northerly generally down the middle of that stream and the Kaitangata Stream, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Small Grazing-run 45; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2 of Small Grazing-run 43A and its production to the middle of a public road, being a point on the western boundary of the Hauiti Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly generally along that boundary, to and along the western boundary of the Whangara Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described, to and along the northern boundary of the Tarere Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to a point in the middle of the Waipaoa River opposite the north-western corner of Section 18, Block, I, Waimata Survey District, being the point of commencement.

Te Karaka Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waingaromia River in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 11 on the plan numbered 1696, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Gisborne, and being a point on the western boundary of the Hauiti Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly and westerly generally along the boundaries of the Hauiti and Parihimanih Tribal Committee Areas hereinbefore described to a point in the middle of the Waipaoa River in line with the northern boundary of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 1147, deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly along a right line to the eastern corner of Subdivision 1 of Tangihanga No. 1c Block; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of that block to the northernmost corner of Section 3, Block X, Waikohu Survey District, in the Ngatapa Settlement; thence along the north-western and western boundaries of that settlement to the Tahora Road; thence along the middle of that road to the Wharekopae Stream; thence up the middle of that stream, the Makaretu Stream, and the Ngatapa Stream to the middle of Smart’s Road on the north-western boundary of Block VII, Ngatapa Survey District; thence northerly generally along the middle of Smart’s Road, the Rakauroa Tahora Road, across the Gisborne-Opotiki Main Highway, and along the middle of the Oliver Road; thence easterly generally along Poututu Road to the easternmost corner of Poututu B 5 Block in Block X, Mangatu Survey District, and along a right line to the confluence of the Waingaromia River and the Waipaoa River in Block XII, Mangatu Survey District; thence north-easterly generally up the middle of the Waingaromia River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 11 on the plan numbered 1696 aforesaid, being the point of commencement.

Mangatu Whatatutu Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of a road on the production eastwards of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to the north-western corner of Section 2, Block II, Urutawa East Survey District; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Section 2 aforesaid, to and across a public road to the south-western corner of Section 5, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District; thence easterly generally along a public road and the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block VIII aforesaid, to a point on the western boundary of Section 1, Block V, Otipi Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the north-western corner of Section 1 aforesaid, and Section 2, Block VI, Otipi Survey District, to and across a road reserve and the Motu River to its right bank; thence down the right bank of the Motu River to its intersection with the northern boundary of Lot 8 on the plan numbered 2480, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Gisborne; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 8 aforesaid, Lot 7 and 6 on the plan numbered 2479, deposited as aforesaid, Lot 3 on the plan numbered 2395, deposited as aforesaid, and Lot 2 on the plan numbered 2394, deposited as aforesaid, to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary with the north-western boundary of Waipaoa 1E Block, situated in Block IV, Arowhana Survey District; thence northeasterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Waipaoa 1E Block to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary with a right line from Trig. Stations 139 and Arowhana; thence north-easterly along that right line to Arowhana Trig. Station; thence along a right line in the direction of Kapua Trig. Station to its intersection with the western boundary of Huiaurua No. 3 Block, being a point on the boundary of the Tokomaru Bay Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of that area, and southerly, south-westerly, and westerly generally along the western, north-western, and northern boundaries of the Hauiti and Te Karaka Tribal Committee Areas hereinbefore described, to the junction of Oliver Road and the Motu Front Road in Block XII, Motu Survey District; thence northerly along the middle of the Motu Front Road and the Whakarau Highway, passing through Motu Village, to and along the middle of the road forming the eastern boundaries of Part Section 1 and Section 8, Block IV, Urutawa East Survey District, and Section 2, Block II, Urutawa East Survey District, to a point on the production eastwards of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District; thence easterly along the production of that boundary to the eastern side of the road, being the point of commencement.

Mataawai Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of a road on the production eastwards of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District, being a point on the western boundary of the Mangatu Whatatutu Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly and south-easterly generally along the western boundaries of that area and the north-western boundaries of the Te Karaka Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to the intersection of Rakauroa Tahora Road and Smart’s Road in Block II, Ngatapa Survey District; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the middle of that road to the middle of the Koranga Stream, and down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Small Grazing-run 89; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary, the northern boundaries of Small Grazing-run 90, Sections 2 and 3, Block XII, Moanui Survey District, Sections 4, 1, and 2, Block IX, Motu Survey District, and Section 2, Block V, Motu Survey District, to Pokaikiri Trig. Station; thence along a right line to Trig. Station 149A; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Motu No. 1 Block, Block II, Motu Survey District; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Whakapaupakihi No. 2 and Sections 23 and 1 of 24, Block II aforesaid, to a point on the southern boundary of Section 3, Block III, Urutawa East Survey District; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of that section to the right bank of the Pakihi Stream; thence down the said bank of that stream to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 4, Block III aforesaid; thence along a right line across a road reserve to the northernmost corner of Section 4 aforesaid; thence easterly generally along the northern boundary of Sections 4, 6, and 5, Block III aforesaid, to a public road; thence northerly along the western side of that public road and the western boundary of Section 3, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of a public road, being the point of commencement.

Mokonuiarangi Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Koranga Stream in line with the north-western boundary of Small Grazing-run 89, being a point on the south-
