A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the South Island Main Trunk Railway (South End).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the occupation licence is taken: 2 acres 2 roods 13·5 perches.

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 3162, part Rural Sections 20812 and 16707.

Situated in Block XII, Alford Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7670.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123493, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the occupation licence in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Ronald William Hobbs, of Methven, Farmer, under and by virtue of occupation licence, Volume 457, folio 65 (Canterbury Registry), is hereby taken for irrigation purposes.
