A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil-conservation and river-control purposes and shall vest in the Nelson Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public hall and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eyre as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

Land and an Easement over Land taken for a Main Highway Depot in Block XVII, Town of Balclutha

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the said main highway depot, such right-of-way to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 acres 0 roods 6-4 perches. Being part Sections 28 and 43 ; coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which the easement is taken : 10-61 perches. Being part Section 28 ; coloured red.
All situated in Block XVII, Town of Balclutha (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9575.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken : 8-62 perches. Being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 6786, part Section 585, Town of Wellington, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 365, folio 254 (Wellington Land Registry).
