Classification of Road in Taupo and Waimarino Counties

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve of the Main Highways Board’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Taupo and Waimarino Counties.

SCHEDULE

TAUPO AND WAIMARINO COUNTIES

ROAD classified in Class Four : Available for the use thereon of any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle or any trailer which with the load it is carrying has an axle weight of not more than 3½ tons on any one axle, or of any other heavy motor-vehicle which with the load it is carrying has an axle weight of not more than 4 tons on any one axle :—

Waiouru–Tokaanu Main Highway No. 883.

Revoking Portion of a Warrant excluding Streets from Limitation as to Speed imposed by the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3

IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant which is dated the 8th day of October, 1937,* and which excludes portion of the Tauranga–Whakatane Main Highway No. 15 known as Turret Road and portion of the Matamata–Tauranga Main Highway No. 20 in Tauranga Borough from the limitation as to speed imposed by the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, section 3.
