NOTICE has been received under the hand of the Returning Officer for the first election of the Dipton Rabbit Board that—

Douglas Haig Milligan,
Earnest Wardlaw Stevens,
Ian McLean,
Donald Robertson Stewart, and
Robert Campbell

have been duly elected as members of the said Board.

Redefining a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946, I, Edward Cullen, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 23rd day of May, 1947.


SCHEDULE

PIAKO FEDERATED BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA

ALL that area of land lying within the Counties of Piako, Hauraki Plains, Ohinemuri, Waikato, and Matamata, and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the boundary-line between the Piako and Waikato Counties is met by the Hamilton–Morrisville Railway; thence continuing along the said railway-line towards the City of Hamilton to the north-western corner of Lot 5, Block XII, Komakorau Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of Lot 5, Block XII, Komakorau Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Lot 5; thence in an easterly direction following along the southern boundaries of Lots 5, 1, and 2, Block XII, Komakorau Survey District, to the point where the southern boundary of the said Lot 2 meets the western boundary of the Piako County; thence in a generally southerly direction along the western boundary of the Piako County to the western corner of Section 22, Block VIII, Cambridge Survey District, in the Matamata County; thence in a generally easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 22, 21, and B 1, Block VIII, Cambridge Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section B 1; thence in a north-easterly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections B 1, 23, and B 4, Block VIII, Cambridge Survey District, to the point where the eastern boundary of the said Section B 4 meets the southern boundary of the Piako County; thence following the said county boundary in, firstly, an easterly and then northerly direction to the point of junction with the northern boundary-line of the Tauranga County and the southern boundary-line of the Ohinemuri County; from this point taking a straight line across country in a northerly direction to the junction of the Waitawheta Stream and Ohinemuri River; thence in a straight line across country in a south-westerly direction to the south-western corner of Section 5, Block IV, Waitoa Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 6, 7, and 9, Block IV, Waitoa Survey District, to the Thames Railway; thence in a southerly direction following the said railway to the point where it crosses the Waitoki Stream; thence following the Waitoki Stream downstream to the Waihou River; thence following the said river downstream to the point where it crosses the southern boundary of the Hauraki Plains County; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of the said county to the south-western corner of Block XV, Waihou Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a north-westerly direction to the Awakeriapaka Trig., located in Block X, Waihou Survey District; thence continuing the line in a north-westerly direction to the point where the Ngarau–Patetonga–Ngatea Road crosses the Waikoura Stream; thence following the said stream in a westerly direction where it forms the southern boundary-line of Sections 33, 30, and 28, Block IX, Waihou Survey District, to the point where it meets the Maukoro Canal; thence from this point taking a straight line across country in a generally northerly direction to the south-eastern corner of Section 46, Block XII, Piako Survey District; thence in a northerly direction following along the eastern boundaries of Sections 46 and 21, Blocks XII and VIII, Piako Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 21; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 21, 20, and 19, Block VIII, Piako Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Section 19; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of Section 16, Block VIII, Piako Survey District, to the southern boundary of Section 15, Block VIII, Piako Survey District; thence following the southern boundary of Section 15, Block VIII, Piako Survey District, in a westerly direction to the south-western corner of the said Section 15; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 15, 12, and 10, Block VIII, Piako Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Section 10; thence in a south-westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections P.T. No. 5B 2, 24, 25, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 12, Blocks VIII and XI, Piako Survey District, to the western boundary-line of the Hauraki County; thence in a generally southerly direction following along the said county boundary to the junction of the boundary-lines between the Waikato, Hauraki Plains, and Piako Counties; thence continuing along the Piako County boundary in a southerly direction to the point where it is met by the Tahuna Main Highway; thence along the said highway in a westerly direction to the north-western corner of Lot 1, Block XI, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence in, firstly, a southerly and then easterly direction along the western and southern boundaries of the said Lot 1, and continuing along the southern boundaries of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block XI, Hapuakohe Survey District, to again meet the Piako County boundary at the south-eastern corner of Lot 5, Block XI, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence continuing along the Piako County boundary in a southerly direction to the north-western corner of Lot 1, Block XVI, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block XVI, Hapuakohe Survey District, and Sections 6, 7, and 8, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 8; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Section 2; thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 2 and 3, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 3; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, to the Tauhei Road; thence across the said road to the north-western corner of Section 22s, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 22s, 23s, and 24s, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 24s; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 24s, 33s, and 38s, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 38s; from this point taking a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to meet the Manguhaumia Stream at the south-western corner of Section 60s, Block II, Maungakawa Survey District; thence following the northern bank of the said stream downstream to the Piako River; thence following the Piako River upstream to the point where it is bridged by the main Hamilton–Te Aroha Highway; thence in a westerly direction along the said highway and through the Borough of Morrinsville to the point where it meets the western borough boundary; thence following the borough boundary in a northerly direction to the north-eastern corner of Section 7, Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 7, 1, and 2, Blocks VI and V, Maungakawa Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block V, Maungakawa Survey District; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 2, Block V, Maungakawa Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 2; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 2 and 7, Block V, Maungakawa Survey District, and the southern boundary of Section 3622, Block V, Maungakawa Survey District, to the western boundary-line of Block V, Maungakawa Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of the said Block V to the point where this boundary-line meets the Hamilton–Morrisville Railway; thence in a westerly direction along the said railway to the common boundary-line between the Piako and Waikato Counties, being the original point of commencement.

ALL that area of land lying within the Waitomo and Taumarunui Counties and bounded by a line commencing at the Paepaeroa Trig., located in Block IX, Ongarue Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a southerly direction to the Pangarara Trig., located in Block XIII, Ongarue Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to the Tangitu Trig., located in Block VI, Tangitu Survey District; thence continuing across country in a westerly direction to the Pukia Trig., located in Block III, Aria Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a northerly direction to the Te Hekitanga Trig., located in Block V, Totoroa Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to the Rewarewa Trig., located in Block VII, Mapara Survey District; thence continuing in a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to the Maungarahiri Trig., located in Block XIII, Mapara Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a southerly direction to the Paepaeroa Trig., located in Block IX, Ongarue Survey District, being the original point of commencement.
