The Dannevirke Milk Delivery Notice 1942, Amendment No. 1
Pursuant to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,* the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows :—

This notice may be cited as the Dannevirke Milk Delivery Notice 1942, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Dannevirke Milk Delivery Notice 1942† (hereinafter referred to as the principal scheme).

Clause (7) of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking the words “F. Compton, 156 High Street, Dannevirke, and C. G. Knight, High Street, Dannevirke,” and substituting the words “W. H. Tougher, Swinburn Street, Dannevirke,” in each case.

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of Discharged Servicemen
Whereas, pursuant to section 24 of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, notice was given of the intention of the Minister of Lands to take under Part II of the said Act the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, and a copy of the said notice was published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 29th day of August, 1946, at page 1203 :
And whereas an objection was made by the owner, in the manner prescribed by the said Act, objecting to the taking of the said lands and claiming the right to retain that part of the said lands described in the Second Schedule hereto:
And whereas the Minister of Lands agreed to the retention by the owner of that part of the said lands described in the Second Schedule hereto:
And whereas the owner withdrew such objection and agreed to an amended vesting date:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty's Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 27 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the lands described in the Third Schedule hereto are taken for the settlement of discharged servicemen, and hereby specifies the 4th day of June, 1948, as the date on which the said lands shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement two hundred and ten (210) acres twenty-four decimal two (24.2) perches, more or less, being Lots 2, 3, and part of Lot 4, Deposited Plan 250, being part of Allotment 11, Waiau Parish, and being the residue of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 74, folio 114 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement twenty-three (23) acres three (3) roods thirty-seven decimal three (37.3) perches, more or less, being Allotments 28, 29, 30, and parts of Allotments 7, 8, and 9 of Suburban Section 1, Puni Parish, and being the whole of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 752, folio 36 (limited as to parcels) (Auckland Registry).
