The Hamilton Milk Delivery Notice 1946, Amendment No. 7

Pursuant to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,* the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Hamilton Milk Delivery Notice 1946, Amendment No. 7, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Hamilton Milk Delivery Notice 1946† (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

  2. Clause (7) of the principal notice is hereby revoked and the following clause substituted therefor:

“(7) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows:—

Name. Area.
1. A. L. Cooper, Bankwood Road, Claudelands In the zone numbered (1), also wholesale supplies of bottled milk to the Subway Shop, River Road, in the zone numbered (6).
2. H. Cummings, 16 Claude Street, Claudelands In the zone numbered (2), and Rivett's shop, Grey Street, in the zone numbered (6).
3. C. Purchase, 26 Wilson Street, Cambridge ... In the zone numbered (3), and all wholesale supplies to the Tip-Top Milk Bar, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7), and the 24 Hour Cafe, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (13).
4. J. Williams, Enderley Avenue, Claudelands... In the zone numbered (4), and also wholesale supplies to Cassell Hospital, Von Tempsky Street, in the zone numbered (6).
5. J. Bowler, Plunket Terrace, Hamilton East.. In the zone numbered (5), and all wholesale supplies to the Royal Hotel and the Waikato Hotel, Grey Street, in the zone numbered (6), Ascot House, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7).
6. N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Hamilton In the zone numbered (6), and also all wholesale supplies of loose and bottled milk to Oliver's shop, Grey Street, in the zone numbered (2), Pott's shop, Galloway Street, in the zone numbered (8), Perry's shop, Grey Street, in the zone numbered (9), Cliff's shop, Pembroke Street, Elmsley's shop, Hood Street, Technical School, Tristram Street, Cook's shop and Butler's shop, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7), Walker and Malloy's shops, Ward Street, in the zone numbered (3), Gordon's shop, Park Street, in the zone numbered (12), Cook's shop, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (13), and the Railway Tea-rooms in the zone numbered (15).
7. D. R. Simcock, 26 Naylor Street, Hamilton East In the zone numbered (7), with the exception of the following portion of the zone: All that area including Clarence Street from Ruakiwi Street to Pembroke Street, Hunter Street, Waratah Street, Thackeray Street, Milton Street, Collingwood Street from Lake Road to Anglesea Street, Tristram Street from Collingwood Street to Hood Street, and Hood Street.
8. R. L. Wilkins, 3 James Street, Hamilton In the zone numbered (8), and all wholesale supplies to the Colonial Ammunition Co., Ltd., Dey Street, in the zone numbered (10).

Oliver, corner of Nelson and Cook Streets, Hamilton East In the zone numbered (13), and also wholesale supplies to the Renown Tea- rooms, Dainty Tea-rooms, Kia Ora Tea-rooms, Duck Inn Milk Bar, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7), and the Plaza Tea-rooms, Ward Street, in the zone numbered (3).
14. Allen Bros., 68 Boundary Road, Hamilton In the zone numbered (14).
15. R. C. Sangster, 26 Blackburn Street, Frankton In the zone numbered (15), also wholesale supplies to Robinson's shop, Kent Street, in the zone numbered (17), and the Coffee Bar and the Central Dining-Rooms, Commerce Street, in the zone numbered (18).
16. Peters and Pollard, East Street, Claudelands In the zone numbered (16).
17. R. M. Smyth, corner Mill and Willoughby Streets, Hamilton In the zone numbered (17).
18. Bryant House Dairy, Te Rapa In the zone numbered (18), and wholesale supplies to Daffodil Tea-rooms, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (13), H. and J. Court's Tea-rooms and Wheeler's Tea-rooms, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7); also wholesale bottled supplies to the Peter Pan Milk Bar, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7).
19. R. M. Smyth, corner Mill and Willoughby Streets, Hamilton In the zone numbered (19).
20. L. Bowler, 38 River Road, Hamilton In the zone numbered (20).
21. F. E. Coogan, 4 Wilson Street, Hamilton East In the zone numbered (21), with the exception of all the area on the west side of the Waikato River and north of Dillicar Street, and all wholesale supplies of loose and bottled milk to Caro's Great Bargain Stores, Ltd., Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7), the Centreway's Tea-rooms and Rose Tea-rooms, Garden Place, in the zone numbered (3).
22. F. E. Coogan, 4 Wilson Street, Hamilton East All wholesale supplies of bottled milk to Rowe's shop and Reid's shop in Grey Street in the zone numbered (6), Davis' shop, Garvey's shop, Curragh's shop, Massey Street, in the zone numbered (15), Knight's shop, Earle's shop, Commerce Street, Ferry's shop, Ellis's shop, Norton Road, in the zone numbered (18), Dent's shop, Lake Road, in the zone numbered (3), Seddon's shop, Elliott's shop, Kean's shop, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (13), Cameron's shop, Rimu Street, in the zone numbered (16), Handy Store and Creighton's shop, Mill Street, in the zone numbered (19), Lee's shop and Fraser's shop in the zone numbered (21).
23. J. L. Dike, Knighton Road, Hamilton East The remaining portion of the zone numbered (7).
24. B. Murcott, Hobson Street, Maeroa, Hamilton The remaining portion of zone number (21) as follows: The west side of the Waikato River and north of Dillicar Street, but excluding Dillicar Street, and all wholesale supplies of loose and bottled milk to the Dolly Varden Milk Bar in the zone numbered (7); also all wholesale supplies of loose milk to the Peter Pan Milk Bar, Victoria Street, in the zone numbered (7).”
