Authorizing the Exchange of Part of a Reserve in Waimea Survey District, Nelson Land District, for other Land

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of April, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for gravel purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF PART OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED Nelson Land District
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being part of Section 60, District of Waimea West, on D.P. 3504 (Nelson Registry), situated in Block V, Waimea Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4677, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR Nelson Land District
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being part of Section 60, District of Waimea West, and being Lot 2 on D.P. 3504 (Nelson Registry), situated in Block V, Waimea Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4677, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

ALL those areas in the County of Waitemata, situated in Block III, Waitakerei Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 rood and 84 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 4, as shown on the plan numbered 33766, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being portions of Wekatahi Block and portion of Piha Block, and being parts of the lands comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Volume 642, folios 55 and 56 (Auckland Land Registry). As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/232A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF LANDS TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR North Auckland Land District
ALL those areas in the County of Waitemata, situated in Block III, Waitakerei Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 rood and 28 perches, more or less, being Lots 2 and 3, as shown on the plan numbered 33766, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being portions of Wekatahi Block, and being parts of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 682, folio 28 (Auckland Land Registry). As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/232A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Taupo, Auckland Land District

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for Justice, Post and Telegraph purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for buildings of the General Government:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for Justice, Post and Telegraph purposes to a reserve for buildings of the General Government.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Taupo Town District, situated in Block II, Tauhara Survey District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood and 39 perches, more or less, being Block XXXII, Town of Taupo. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/407D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

to be the Tainui Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Mokau Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 0 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3A 2 Block, Block I, Tainui Survey District: Bounded towards the north generally by the Mokau River, 180 links, and Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3A 3 Block, 2644.9 links ; towards the south by Mokau Road, 2359.9 links; and towards the west by Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3A 1 Block, 897.9 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1017A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
