Crown Land in Canterbury Land District set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby, set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 39 perches, being part Reserve 3084, Block XV, Alford Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 28058D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of December, 1946.

ALL that area containing 16 acres 2 roods 34·8 perches, being parts of the east portion of Hararahi No. 1 Block, Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District, and being more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/47A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitations of Area

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of December, 1946

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section forty-one of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by Sophie Mary Kebbell, of Palmerston North, Married Woman, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XIII of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area containing one (1) acre six decimal nine (6·9) perches, more or less, being Lots 64, 65, 66, 82, 83, 84, and 85 on Deposited Plan No. 6673, part of Wainui A Block, Town of Paekakariki Extension No. 6, and being all the land comprised in Certificates of Title, Volume 435, folio 211, Volume 318, folio 175, and Volume 437, folio 251 (Wellington Registry).

Authorizing the Sale and Removal of Limestone upon or under Land vested in His Majesty for the Purposes of the Westport-Inangahua Railway

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of December, 1946

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the sale and removal of limestone upon or under the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being vested in His Majesty for the purposes of the Westport-Inangahua Railway by virtue of a Proclamation dated the second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 46 of the eleventh day of the same month at page 1726.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land comprising 10 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Railway land (formerly part Scenery Preservation Reserve No. 7), situated in Blocks I and V, Inangahua Survey District. As the said portion of land is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8635 (S.O. 9462, Nelson), deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered orange.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold : 1 rood 16 perches.

Being Railway land (Proclamation No. 1337).

Situated in Block II, Clyde Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1007, green.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78688, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
