A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 0 roods 0·7 perches.
Being Allotments 122, 123, and 124 of Section 2, Town of Opotiki.
Situated in the Borough of Opotiki (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4373, blue.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124201, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 105 of the second day of December in the same year, at page 1421, taking land for defence purposes in Blocks VII and VIII, Opo Survey District, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.
