Allocating Land taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at
Dargaville

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaihu Valley Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Dargaville Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8587, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of December, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Wellington- Napier Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Napier Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 4 perches. Being part Railway land (part Suburban Section 5).
Situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, Borough of Napier. (S.O. 2213.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8631, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of December, 1946.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Dargaville to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 acres 1 rood 36 perches. Being part Railway land in Proclamation 11640.
Situated in Block XV, Kaihu Survey District, and Block XIII, Maungaru Survey District, Borough of Dargaville. (S.O. 34029.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8587, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: I acre 0 roods 24.3 perches. Being part Allotment 28 (D.P. 1943), Waiwera Parish.
