Land taken for a Library in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a library and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 10·97 perches. Being part Lot 53, D.P. 1087, being part Section 29, Karori District. Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 21378.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123822, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of August, 1946.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for health purposes (District Health Nurse's cottage-site); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 15 perches. Being part Allotment 4, Hikurangi Parish. Situated in Block V, Purua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34009.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124049, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of August, 1946.
